On a happier note, I reset my console a few more times and was able to get out of the Night Mothers coffin, AND get the next set of contracts. Seems like it's the first bug I haven't hit yet.

Lucky! I don't have any saves that were before i began the quest so I just have to cross my fingers and hope Bethesda patches it.. I have already beaten the main quest so I'm definitely not restarting the game

Same problem here except on the PS3. I don't know whether to continue on or start all over, I'm only on level 9.

To Kill an Empire:

When I speak to Gianna she goes through her first three lines of dialogue before she breaks conversation with "It's Just..." and says something like "See ya." or "Hmph-hmm".

Forbidden Legend:

Do not jump in the hole without a save outside it!

A bridge may be glitched and will not lower when the lever is turned.
If the bridge does not fall and you have no save outside, you will be forced to restart your game!

The Volunruud quest.

I went through Volunruud once, after I got the sword and axe and got through that door I left because I couldn't beat the boss guy in there. I went back for the quest later on after everything had respawned and when I tried putting the sword and axe in the door, it said I lack the required item. I'm sure I have the right items. I've tried exiting and reentering the dungeon as well.

Yes. She reactedin the same manner when I had it on as when I had it off.

I started the quest to become part of the storm cloaks but never finished it. In the main story line quest i have to talk to Ulfric but he tells me to finish the quest to become a storm cloak so i killed the wraith but still cant finish either quest

Can't speak to Maven for the thieves guild quest. The quest literally disappeared from my journal and I can't get it again from bilnjorn or whatever his name is.

Rescue Mission - sidequest for the Companions. Character you need to find, goes missing from the game. Unsure if it'll stop progression for the guild. (probably knowing my luck)

EDIT: It does infact stop progression within the Guild.

During the main quest I get stuck trying to get Ulfric to go to the peace summoning. He tells me to speak to Galmar who says: "I don't know how you got Ulfric to agree to talk to the empire, seems like a waste of time to me!" and it just keeps going

I can't get past it and I don't want to start a new game!

This is so dumb, Brynjolf went down to the Rataways for me, but then stopped in the room right before the ragged flagon. There was also a dead skeever and lowlife next to him. Which I'm assuming he killed. I didn't follow him down there, I just made my way to the ragged flagon and found him already in the room right before it. He paced back and forth while he gave his distraction speech for 'A Chance Arrangement'. He wouldnt reset if I killed him. He would just resume pacing and talking. Then if I wait a couple hours. He goes back to the marketplace and does the distraction with everyone looking at him. I save frequently, so no, I do not have a previous save for before I started that quest.
I hate my life.

I don't know if this is your problem, but the last part of the shout was when you shout at the 'targets' which are spectres that the greybeards summon through some portal. Anyway, for me, the spectres wouldnt show up at all. What I did to fix this is when a greybeard starting casting the portal, I'd activate my favorites menu, and wait for the spectre to pop up in the portal. Sometimes though it glitched the [censored] out and spawns likes 10 greybeards in random places. They disappear of course when you release the favorite menu.

i cant say how pissed off i am first my face goes blank because of some item glitch 2nd my first horse fell through the ground third i had an axe in my back that would not go away i had to reload back and the amount of glitches in quests i have so many quests i cant do till they fix now >< but none of it matches this one trying to helpulfric stormcloak liberate skyrim from imperial control i think its called liberation of skyrim the part where you had to liberate haafingar will not even let you bring the topic up to the main guy now the only way i could see why it happened is because a dragon attacked i quickly [censored] it up and then was not able to talk to him so great thz skyrim is so much fun atm >< please fix this crap soon how did the game testers not see this crap one walk through should of shown alot of this .............;......

In Diplomatic Immunity, the guy I freed from the dungeon accidentally hit either me or Malborn, which resulted in both Malborn and my companion murdering him. I think Malborn also died in a fight with a troll. Not exactly a glitch, but there should be a way to stop them fighting, shouldn't there? Or they shouldn't fight each other at all.

Lol im also a khajiit and are focusing on sneak and pickpocketing.. I love the theives guild and I wish bethesda would fix the quests!

Bloods Honour (Companion Quest)
Upon taking this quest the Jarl of Whiterun adn his retainers all attack me on site and i am unable to yield. FFS, i've had enough quest glitches already, as well as texture and terrain glitches (such as the ground and whole rivers disappearing and i have to reload) but this is pushing me over the edge. I love you bethesda, but keep this up and its going to turn to hate pretty [censored] quick. How did you not pick these up in the testing.....

DragonKin, this thread is meant to report quests that have glitches in them, not to fill half of the posts in it with angry posts. I'd hate to see another thread get locked because of you.

Oh also, when i transform into a werewolf for some reason i have a dwarven longsword in my right hand and i cannot remove it, the sheathe is on my body to. WTF i don't even have a longsword! I dont even use longswords! And my werewolf looks so [censored] gay running around with a dwarven longsword stuck to my arm that i cannot remove! AARRRGGGHHHH

in Diplomatic immunity when you have to meet Delphine at the stables she keeps attacking me I havent attacked her or done anything to attract any attention like that but no matter what thats the outcome.

i have a main quest problem in the bleak fall caverns the stones you need to activate in the room with the arrow trap u cant activate them i hear alot are having the problem so plz fix ive been waiting so long for this game kinda down i cant even make it a couple hours into the main quest =(

try leaving the dungeon or reloading the game from before that area of the dungeon

I decided to go without getting my first shout for awhile, but when I returned to do the Bleak Fall Barrows quest, I cannot move any of the rings for the puzzle where you have to look at the golden claw for the combination. I really hope I don't have to go back too much.
