There's about 37 of them, and their 35 pounds each, so it's impossible. I only managed to grab two.

Yep, you can get them behind the forcefields, then pick them up at the exi. Check the wiki or look for vids for details.

Just managed to take all 37 bars out of the Vault and to Novac. Ahh, how we oppose the ones who restrict us.

If you're at this point in the game what is a few caps.. ie: 5000..

I took as much as I could from the unique armor/weapons.. (automatic rifle.. holographic rifle.. assassins armour.. sierra madre gaurd's armour.. and elijah's robes)... and then added whatever I could in bars..amounts to 4x bars.. 10000 = 5000 sell value...

IMO.. who cares about the bars.. one or two trips to random wasteland spots will amount to what you get out of a bar.. I dont even use the uniques and would rather store them than get more caps.. went in pre-DLC with 17000 caps.. and about a 14 barter skill.. yes.. 14...

I left the bars as decoration in my penthouse at Lucky 38 and didn't even sell them for caps... I'll sell them if I need them when another DLC is released.. IMO.. there is nothing unique about gold bars and they are simply caps.. take whatever you can get out of the armour/weapons and fill the last few holes with a bar or two or three.. tehy are low priority.. wasteland runs will easily match what you get from hauling bars if you want money.. but you can never find the unique weapons/armour elsewhere

Why the hell would anyone sell them, I got them all just because there were only 37, you could only get them once, and they look nice in my house... If its unique I dont care about use I will have it.

Agreed.. they are sitting on a table in my house... IMO bars are worthless.. caps are in abundance once you hit the 20-30 point required for the DLC.. fill your inventory with the uniques first.. then take whatever bars your strength allows.. as long as you have one for decoration you'll be sparky..

I dissagree 37 ingots look better than 1. And besides its really not going out of your way to get them all, why not ?

True.. in hindsight I'd have dropped everything but the holorifle and assault rifle.. an then took as many bars as I could have and stacked them in my residence.. nothing else was worth keeping from the DLC..

... I didnt have enough strength to get more than 10.. but would have looked nicer than 3 and a bunch of random armors and police guns and spears..

That's why you use the nice exploit, and take every single one, while still being able to carry all of your other items.

would the paladin dude in the BoS bunker steal the bars if you placed them on the shelves there?

Oh god tyhat paladin in 3, I think everybody started shooting him on sight due to him glitching and robbing your home.

If collect all of them, then drop all 35 of the gold bars so they are one object just pick them up holding the Left Bumper (or whatever you have used to pick stuff up), and carry the gold bars all the way to the exit where you proceed to end of the DLC press A so the Gold is in your inventory, when you come back to the Mojave leave them somewhere safe and bring them 3 or 4 at a time to where you want them to be stored or sold but there worth 10,000 caps each and are unique so I just use them as a decorative touch.

it even made me go "right nocav is a crap hotel, moving base to lucky 38", it jsut seems wrong to leave those ingots in a run down bulding.

I am told that the bars don't allow you to use the grab command.

Is it even possible to sell the bars?
