Little odd, but I've had some success with a Harry Dresden homage from Dresden File's. Keeping the 7 laws isn't all that hard. The big thing is adapting him to Skyrim's setting. I'm still not sure if I should play him like actual book Harry, sent to Skyrim, or just another guy that hits a lot of the same notes.

I've been meaning to take a look at those books.... after I've got through the Ciaphas Cain books (sweet, glorious WH40K) and Ender's Game....

How good are they, by your take?

(I could probably make a Ciaphas Cain type character in Fallout 3, now I think about it.)

I had it pretty easy; I play a table top RPG based on Morrowind, so I just used my character from that as a model. Worked very well, even motivated me to pick up a few mods to customize my "look and feel" I'd have otherwise not cared about.

Elric. Albino Altmer, alchemy, conjuration, heavy and light armour, enchanting just to get the master perk and make a sword with soul trap and absorb stamina.

I'm thinking about making something like Perrin Aybara from Wheel of Time.

Dual wield with an axe and mace, spend time at the forge, and be a werewolf.

You can make a pretty accurate Lisbeth Salander in New Vegas... mohawk, piercings, going around hacking computers and causing trouble.

Good characters you say? well for me it'd be one of these guys:

Eddard Stark, from the book series: A Song of Ice and Fire (also featured in it's TV drama: Game of Thrones).

Iorek Byrnison, from the book series: His Dark Materials (also featured in it's lacking movie: The Golden Compass).

Gandalf the Grey, from the book & it's latter series: The Hobbit / The Lord of the Rings (also featured in Peter Jackson's series of LOTR films).

I've said this before, but....A mix of Riddike and Antonio Banderas in 13th Warrior.

Redguard criminal dual wielding badass (Riddike), who learns the ways of Nords (13th warrior) and becomes a hero/antihero.

I see Dawnbreaker as a mix between Lightbringer and Dawn.
