So I got married to Grelka. Who did you marry in Skyrim?

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 2:58 pm

I married Aela till I realized marriage turned her soft.

I reloaded and married Ysolda.

I have my honey at home tending to the family matters, but spend all my time out adventuring with my true love...

You can marry her (Aela) and choose to stay at her place. In that case she will continue with her usual schedule when she's not with you, and won't stay locked inside the house.
That's what I plan to do with Vilkas, I don't want him turning into a knitting granny.

You're the first person I've ever come across who married Iona.

Uh, oh. Does she have a bad rep I need to know about? ;)

No, it's just... no one cares for her. :P

Also, I don't find her that attractive, but to each their own.

Think I made a bad decision cos I married Mjoll cos she's like me, a two handed hammer swinging warrior type.

But the thing is as soon as you cause her a little damage she's gets all tetchy and attacks you and she's immortal so you can't kill her, now back to a save game.

Yeah, to be honest, on this play through I just picked her because that's where I was when I thought about it. I was more selective on my first play through. I chose Jordis the housecarl at Proudspire Manor. This time I was just thinking about the income from our shop. Although, I have to say she is growing on me. She never seems to sit around like Lydia. She is either cooking, crafting potions or enchanting. I RP that she is working on stuff for our shop. :)

I dunno about you guys, but I like softhearted Aela.

Plus she can be a follower and doesn't act soft till you tell her to go home.

Elisif the Fair - Jarl of Solitude, but that marriage was quite boring, divorced her and married Eola. :yuck:

You divorces Elisif... :stare:

Sometimes I think people that play on the pc just don't know how lucky they are compared to console gamers...

Hahahahaha nice one! My first character married Farkas and my second married Vilkas. In both cases I brought them to my house but, since they are Companions, I have encountered them both randomly out in the countryside. And thankfully Vilkas doesn't turn into a "knitting granny" Though both of them are somewhat sweeter as husbands

Ysolda, her patchwork denim outfit takes me right back to the hippy chicks of the seventies.

Isn't Anneke Crag-Jumper already married?

Yep. Anneke can't be your wife, but she can be your mother-in-law if you marry her daughter, Sylgja.

I never got around to marrying anyone. I was waiting for a patch so that I could marry Lydia, then my PS3 blew up. If the patch didn't arrive, then I would have married Aela, but even that didn't happen. Even in a game where all you have to do is ask someone, I still failed to do it. And lost both as a consequence. A case of art imitating life, maybe.

Sorry, am I projecting?

I vote for Hroki as the sixiest in all of Skyrim :D

I don't console so i marry whoever is available. I chose Sylbja the first time because i really like her sweet tone and readiness to please. I like Lydia too, but it's tedious to hear "i am sworn to carry your burdens" all the time. Someone mentioned Senna at the temple in Markarth... she is very hot too so i agree with your choice. Muiri is also very sixy!

If you pretend the word "burdens" means something else, then it's not so bad.

and Isolda isn't the Boring normal wannabe merchant you may think she is

Ysolda is a great merchant, to put it in layman's terms, i was a Virgin when i met her. It took her two minutes.

I chose Ysolda, i'm not a lisbian or anything (played as a male character) but she seemed friendly enough, and she lived in Whiterun which is a major boom- and she was one of the few single people i knew of.

Grelka.. shes... just a horrible person. She sent thugs after me. And mocks all her customers. I think I might kill her.

Although I did steal and pick pocket everything she owns.

I like it when you hear from Ysolda "it's a fine day with you around" How... inviting...

One thing that i don't like with Sylbja is the fact she walks around the house in her miner outfit! I always tell her to go take a bath before... ahem... but she never listens. She even wants me to spank her with her pickaxe!!

I live with Sylgja in her own home. I highly recommend it. It has suitable storage, and she's rarely home. She mines 12 hours of the day, then she comes home for one hour to eat. After that, she'll go back outside to join her two co-miners and the blacksmith as they sit in a semi-circle around the outdoor cooking pot for several hours so they can.... not engage in any conversation whatsoever, apparently. Then she heads back into the house at 11pm and goes to sleep.

It's great, she leaves me the hell alone.

I married Mjoll, then quickly found out that marrying Mjoll means marrying Aerin as well. Removed him from the equation by reverse pickpocketing a frenzy poison into his pocket. Of course the first person he starts attacking is Mjoll, and like a good wifey she responded by burying her battleaxe in his head.

Ysolda, because she kept saying she was into Khajiit caravans which I thought was a euphemism.

My character would marry eric the slayer, but I'm on the Xbox so he is sadly bugged. So my khajiit merchant continues to wonder the peaks loveless :(
