So I got married to Grelka. Who did you marry in Skyrim?

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 3:30 am

Take a real close look at Aela...that ain't a suntan...the chick is a grub and needs a good bath. I'm not thinking of marrying anyone just yet: a. Because I'm falling over the piles of coin I already have; b. Why ruin a good follower; c. I have the feeling that Lydia would probably either knife them or me; d. Sybille isn't too bad, but all she seems to do is sleep all the time; and last but not least, e. Lydia in Whiterun, Jardi in Solitude...enough said (although if you want real weird, there's also Nirya at Winterhold...but I suspect she's a bit clingy).

Well I was trying to find out for myself for days, but if you have to wear an amulet I never would have. I thought maybe you had to learn a speech skill or something. Thanks for the tip.

You need to talk to the priest of Mara in Riften about marriage first, then if you have the amulet of mara and wear it(you can buy it from him as well),the option for marriage appears on some npcs. You need to do their quests first though.

I married Mjoll the Lioness. I even upgraded a full suit of Orcish armor for her and gave a gold diamond necklace that I made.

I despise Aela, she looks like a cave woman.

Mjoll is the way to go.

My first game I got married to http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Brelyna_Maryon because she had a lovable voice and was a kick ass follower, and you know we were young and in college.

Second game I was gona marry Aela and we were gona roam the wild like wild people but she's kinda [censored]y and cold.

Current game I'm going to marry http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Borghak_the_Steel_Heart which I believe / hope will allow me to live succesfully in the the longhouse at Mor Khazgur like a baller.

Believe or not, that red stuff on her face is supposed to be freckles. At least the texture is named that way in the data files. Looks more like near-fatal acne, to be honest. :bonk:

I have two characters, a male Imperial and a female Khajiit. My Imperial married Brelyna Maryon because I have a think for Dark Elves, I wanted a spouse how could also be a follower, and I don't like mercenaries, and my Khajiit married Ysolda, because somehow it seems fitting for Ysolda to marry a Khajiit. I'm also planning on later marrying Cosnach as a male Nord because he's such an atypical Breton.

Camilla Valerius for me. Only did it because I'm alpha. Screwed Sven over with the letter, led Faendal to the shrine of Boethiah, then returned to Riverwood to claim the spoils.

I married my permanent Flame Atronach. I challenge anyone to find a hotter female than her! She follows me about like a lost puppy and can also help out in a fight.

+1

I'd marry Flame Atronach in a heartbeat if it was only possible. Though Nocturnal seems interesting too...

I wanted http://images.wikia.com/elderscrolls/images/7/7c/StW_%282%29.jpg but it didnt work out. I married Camilla Valerius but killed her because, as another poster pointed out, she kept thanking me for the damn claw. I married Ysolda on my other character.

i thought Nocturnal sounded sixy and looked the part on the loading screen, but then she appeared during a certain quest and had an obvious man jaw. A bit like that dude-fem in Dragon Age 2

I was gonna marry Marcurio, but his weird little soul patch grossed me out. Then I met Erandur and I was like "aw yes time for some lovin'", but nope he's a priest.

Then I was just like whatever and I married Romlyn Dreth.

Spoilers about how to get married, since it's not exactly made clear by the game:

Spoiler

The amulet itself is not enough. You'll have to talk to Maramal in Riften about how marriage works in Skyrim. After that, you can buy the Amulet from him, or if you already have one, you can use that one.

I guess Beth considers it a side quest, so they don't exactly wave the feature in front of your face.

Cheers.

Isn't Helga in Riften already married? Don't really remember, but I think she might be. Cute anyway.

If you done the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Caught_Red_Handed quest you'll soon realize who she really is :x

I've got two married characters atm.

My male Dunmer married Alfhild Battle-Born. She sounds like she's baby-talking to you when she calls you "love", which is rather endearing.

My female Nord married Ainethach. Reachmen are exotic, and exotic = sixay, as we all know. Plus, dem sideburns.

Mutton Chops Lol. Farengar Secret-Fire has quite the pair as well.

My Male Khajiit, Ji'rasha married Scouts-Many-Marshes. :bunny:  :bunny:

My next character is going to be a Male Orc and he'll marry Farkas, Erik The Slayer, or Ghorbash the Iron Hand.

Berland though I have to use NPC editor to give him more hair :-P

He is voiced by the same voice actor of Vilkas and has shared exactly the same marriage/proposing dialog. -_-|||

As a Bosmer had no option but to use console commands to make Wylandriah marry-able.

She has the correct dialogue options ("Hello, dear." etc), runs her own shop and doesn't skim any of the profits. A win-win for this master of the Thieves Guild.

Makes "her home", Mistviel Keep, very loot-able. A major plus for before mentioned thief.

The bed is a single, tho'. Gotta brings this to someone's attention that can re-arrange some furniture and walls.
