So I got married to Grelka. Who did you marry in Skyrim?

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 12:07 pm

I recently married Aela but I honestly want to marry Haelga in Riften. I also wouldn't mind marrying Astrid from the Darkbrother hood either.

Isn't Helga in Riften already married? Don't really remember, but I think she might be. Cute anyway.

Is it possible to marry that Dark Elf at the College of Winterhold, the new student who turns you into a horse and dog?

Across different characters, I've married Erik, Vorstag, and Harrald. Might reload and postpone the last one until I can get some more awesome people at my wedding, though.

Spoiler
If only Astrid wasn't already married and didn't end up dying, me too. :\ Such a shame.

She's a fanatical worshipper of Dibella, so she's kind of married... to EVERYONE.

I've got two married characters atm.

My male Dunmer married Alfhild Battle-Born. She sounds like she's baby-talking to you when she calls you "love", which is rather endearing.

WHAAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??!!!!

I wanted to marry her so badly.

Stoopid pc.

The poor woman might be delusional though. She thinks her brother is dead, even though he hangs around at the Whiterun market.

is it possible to marry Grelod using console?? if so, i'm doing that
You scare me.
And no, it's not possible. You can't initiate a dialogue with her, she just throws some random insults when you click on her.

I have a Bosmer who married Aela and a Dunmer battlemage married to Brelyna Maryon.

I married Ysolda. Don't tell my real life wife, but I married her because she looks like one of my ex's.

I married Camilla Valerius and eventually killed her because I was tired of her continually thanking me for returning the golden claw. :D

Are you wearing your Amulet of Mara? It's the ultimate chick/dude-magnet in Skyrim, I hear...

Well I was trying to find out for myself for days, but if you have to wear an amulet I never would have. I thought maybe you had to learn a speech skill or something. Thanks for the tip.

Spoilers about how to get married, since it's not exactly made clear by the game:

Spoiler

The amulet itself is not enough. You'll have to talk to Maramal in Riften about how marriage works in Skyrim. After that, you can buy the Amulet from him, or if you already have one, you can use that one.

I guess Beth considers it a side quest, so they don't exactly wave the feature in front of your face.

Married Sylgia on my main, Brelyna Maryon on my battlemage. (I like the Dunmer as a race. They're sort of endearing despite their creepy looks.)
