I hate to be such a debbie downer, And I wouldn't blame the admins for deleting this post, but I have to say something. This thing is [censored]. I can smell this [censored] steaming off the announcement video, and from these "leaked" screens. I mean, WTF are you guys thinking? do you really have so much money that you can just crap down the toilet on this? It would help my sanity to know where the development team is coming from on this one. It must be assumed that the reputation of the IP alone will sell enough copies to break even? and that's okay from a business standpoint? so greenlight this turd?!?

The Elder Scrolls franchise is top shelf material, this game is only going to cheapen the franchise, drag it through the mud. why? TES online is NOT an awesome game, it's obviously not top shelf, it might be able to pull of a "meh" in sales, and then limp along in free to play mode like the other "big" mmo releases of the past half decade.

I'm all for an elder scrolls mmo, it just has to be awesome, and live up to the standards of an elder scrolls game. for such a game, I would divorce my wife, disown my children and take up a monastic devotion to such a game.... TES Online via Zenimax can never be such a game...

You are not alone. Those I play with in my gaming community are heading to the Bethesda boards just to sign up and be heard. The plans for putting the Elder Scrolls name on the game they are creating has so outraged members of my community worse than the ending to Mass Effect 3.

Many of us have been waiting for years to play in an Elder Scrolls world with our friends and I cannot begin to tell you the outrage brewing based off the leaked information.
