Gotta admit, Chaos damage is awesome.

No, its similar though. I believe it has a 50 percent chance to absorb health magicka and stamina. Thats 50 percent separately for each of these. Sadly not disenchantable.
Awesome enchantments. That aren't enchantable :(. Just like the new dragon priest mask enchantments that buff destruction damage and those waterwalking boots. :stare:

Thanks alot for the info Uriel. I keep some of the unique weapons, the ones that interest the character that I am playing, but later today, I will try that. Thanks again.

You're always welcome to any knowledge I may possess. :)

To those (like myself) not finding vendors with the Chaos enchantment, does it only appear at later levels? I'm level 67 with the guy I created for this DLC, but haven't seen vendors selling this stuff yet. Got the hammer though, it keeps teasing me from its place above the enchanters table in Severin Manor..."disenchant me!" it says....

Just keep trying.

My Assassin is level 57, and I can't find an inventory list with out "Something Something Something of High Chaos" for sale...

Just keep checking back every couple of in-game days or so.

Thanks again, but it will have to come later after I finish this other "main quest" that I have to go and start. It is called 'Cleaning House." You know, the one where you have to vaccumn, dust, swifter dust, etc etc. The plunder in this one quest is that I get to sit down afterwards, have some coffee, and then go and play. lol

Yeah, that enchantment is a lot of fun. Champion's Crudgel(I think it was called that at least) is one of my favorite hammers in the game.

I know this quest well.... I've been complaining to the quest giver, she's supposed to be radiant! But 'Cleaning House' is the only one she gives me. :shakehead:

 Hear you there. Hubby sometimes helps, but he has the "Fix'em de Farm Tractor" quest, and he will not be done till next week seeing as how the parts will not be till then.

Whoops i disenchanted it. Oh well the enchantment is great though on my dragonbone sword.

I second this. Minus the whoops. Could give a [censored] less about the hammer. Isn't an artifact, just the tool of some imperial scum who lived long past his rotting stage. Disenchanted that in a heartbeat.

the enchantment is awesome for people who dont use 2-handed

Why would it not be good for 2-H? A dragonbone greatsword doing 300 damage could optimally do 375 bonus elemental damage (with enchanting perks)

That means if you have 100 chaos damage you have a 50% chance of 100 damage, 25% chance of 200, 12.5% chance of 300, and 12.5% chance of nothing. It is ridiculously overpowered. Esspecially since it gets a huge benifit from Augmented element, and element enchanting perks source: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/615803-the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim/64840686

In other words 675 damage + critical = 700'ish damage in one hit. With fortify 2-H potion - way more.

Well, it meets the criteria for an Artifact, judging by UESPs definition. Unique appearance and effect, so I'll consider it as such. And of course, I am very happy with the Imperial Insignia on it. Feels right, considering who wielded it :)

I definitely think it is an artifact, too. Not on the same level as the many Aedric, Daedric and other such artifacts we've encountered, but still. It's not mundane, it has a story, a history. Wielded by a General of the Imperial Legion who, even in undeath and corrupted by foul magics, was staunchly loyal to the Empire he served whilst still living.

There's every likely hood that we'll never see the Champion's Cudgel ever again, but it is still an artifact, albeit a minor one.

Sadly you're probably right about it never being seen again, though I hope you are mistaken. Assuming something happen before the next game and the Empire lives on in some form, it would be a perfect weapon for the commanding officer to wield. And I wouldn't mind to see it come back more than once.

I bought a nice weapon with the enchantment, put it on a nice Stalhrim greatsword along with an absorb health. OP's the weapon though, so I don't use it much, I just wanted to see how mean I could make it! lol
