I can`t believe they still can`t reproduce this.. I mean play the damn game until you met Gaul... and then after you get attacked by CELL... you can clearly see grain in the game.

Lorenzo...i have this issue..my friends also have this issue ..
If you dont have issue..It doesn't mean that all dont have this issue..if not everyone don't have this issue.. this issue personal your.. issue with game but not with tv or hdmi or something. I have this issue once again...Many have this issue. The such can be.. issue with game

This thread is starting to die. I think people are getting sick of posting about it. I hope that Crytek continues to work on it though because I've shelved it until it's fixed.

The thing is, I asked my brother if he also has the grain issue and he said no. But when I went to visit him I checked out his game and lo and behold he had the grain issue. When I showed him he said he thought it was part of the game.

I think everyone on Xbox has this issue they just don't know it or what to look for...

I agree with you. When i first play crysis and after several missions i thought the grain was part of the Dev decision. I found strange that i didn`t notice when i started playing the game.

THen i found this thread and i realize it was no Dev decsision

I stoped playing it until they fix it... but i guess they won`t fix anything so i`m going to trade the game now. I just can`t focus with those grains on the screen any more.

Maybe the grain glitch is caused by some kind of memory leak because it only manifests itself after a certain amount of time playing the game. I'm just speculating though.

Or possibly an incompatibility with the hardware / software on the 360.. :p haven't seen threads about this on the PS3 or PC side..

i get a totally "grainy" vibe on my dog tag screen(operative status etc)i thought it was some annoyng but purposs made effect,i cant believe how many problems this game seems to have...you'd think you was reading about a beta!the small saving grace is there seems to be some what of a team working to fix what probs they can or at least address em..."better late than never"...in a bit,cos its getting LATE...lol

I read somewhere on other forum a way to get rid of this bug. At first it didn`t work out for me, because i didn`t went to the dashboard. But if you do this steps exactly as i mention, you will get rid of the grain/parasite. I can`t help you to prevent this but, but at least you can fix it when it appear.

1st. End the chapter. You can`t continue from checkpoint.
2nd Quit the game, go to the dashboard (this is key)
3rd run the game and start a new campaign from start (choose the same level, dunno if this is important but just do as i say).
4th keep playing until you gain control on the character and break the lock on the 1st door.
At this point you should see the game without Grain, if you do have grain, then you didn`t follow step 2.
5th Quit the current game and go to the replay mission and choose where you left. Remember you will start from the beginning, this is why i said End the chapter on the 1st step.

At this point you should not have the Grain/Parasite bug anymore. For how long? i`m not sure, but just repeat this steps if you get the bug reappear.

ha well i didn`t know then why so many complains? Doing this just take 5 min or less.
the Grain will come every once in a while so before ending the campaign you will only have to do this twice at most.

Because a game should not require dashboarding just to get it to work correctly. Enough said. Cheers.

We would like to play the game in it's intended form. Everyone here has been doing this temporary fix since the first week of launch...but it's very annoying to break up the flow of the campaign/story when you have to dashboard every 1 - 2 missions.

There's also the fact that you have this lingering feeling that the 'grain glitch' will show up sometime...It's ruined the experience for me. I only play multiplayer for now. If Crytek ever fixes this...then I will enjoy singleplayer once more.

This kind of bug should not be happening on a console game...usually pc's have these types of glitches.

It's kind of weird that neither Cry-Adam or Cry-Tom have posted at all since last week despite them logging in everyday. I hope it's because they are working hard on the next patch.

I want to play the single player so badly but I can't enjoy it when I do......so I don't.

I can't get over how they released new avatar items for the game today when they still haven't even fixed the dang grain glitch. BOOOOOOO!! Rant over. I had to vent a little.
