If i were you i wouild keep everything light because theres going to be some good loot. Just bring one pistol and one rifle. I would prefer the Lucky and cowboy repeater or This machine OR Hunting rifle and some very light armor.

Gonna take the best weapon/armor I have. Just in case.

But I expect to play it Dead Money style. Adds some challenge and gives me a reason to use the new .45 weapons.

I'm just going to assume that Gunny's .45 SMG speculation is exactly right and therefore, I will be using that gun for the entire DLC.
Better bring some weapon repair kits, though.

Now that I know we'll not have our gear stripped, I guess I can respond here. Of course, I'm not sure which of the many characters I have will make the journey, so what I take depends on who I go as. As a general principle, I will invoke the *Point Lookout Rule*. I will travel light, just the bare neccessities, so to have lots of space to pick up new toys to use and bring them home with me. Just a good light armor and general purpose weapons for most characters will do. Of course, if they go, my BOS Knight wouldn't go anywhere without her PA, just like my demolitions expert will certainly go with plenty of high explosives.

-Gunny out.

thats a good rule gunny, i like than

I stand by That Gun. With Cowboy and AP rounds it's unstoppable. You can kill Ranger Veterans and Deathclaws just fine.

I'm going to bring my Laser Rifle, Gatling Laser, Pew Pew, and Tri-Beam. That's my standard Energy Weapons character. Not entirely sure what I'll bring for my Melee and Cowboy (based around the perk; uses repeaters and revolvers) characters.

I've got several characters so the actual load out will differ but I'm taking a minimalist approach 2 weapons max a long gun and a pistol no uniques since they'll be replaced be the dlc weapons asap nothing too powerful either I'm thinking maybe a .357 and an assult rifle with 3-4 mags worth of ammo for guns, plasma defender and a laser rifle fo energy weapons, grenades and a grenade launcher for explosives maybe 5 each. Lght armor either re-enforced leather or I might bring back the ol lightweight metal armor along with very limited chems I'm thinking just a single dose of one or two probably slasher and med x and 2 stimpacks incase I get in a tight spot.

Yeah, we'll be able to return whenever we want from this DLC on. Been stated in Gunny's post somewhere on this page, or in the thing he linked rather but either way.

You know..i'd like to take my M1 Garand(aka-This Machine), but ill be too badass with it, also it might get taken away...so i'll just use that new piece of metal we get our hands on called ".45 auto pistol".....also,when i see it in the hands in the enemy, ".45 SMG" is going to be mine, the first person i see that has that gun, is going to have a [censored] day

As a Red Blooded Meat Eatin' Commie Hatin' Devil May Care American Citizen. I whole heartedly apporove the post above!!

Since the only weapons we *know* for sure will be in HH are the .45 weapons, 12ga shotguns and the unique Service Rifle, and two of them are chambered for a new round, I think That Gun would be almost a neccessity for guns characters. Assuming (yeah, I know what I get when I assume) that the unique SR is chambered in 5.56mm, it follows that there would be plenty of 5.56mm scattered around the dlc. I'm not betting on there being much else for my NV guns lying around. I might take a 12ga shotgun or a 5.56mm rifle and That gun. Knowing that I'll find ammo for them there means I can take less with me for some weapons that might not have ammo placed in HH. And since That Gun rocks now, it'd be a good choice anyways.

-Gunny out.

Sticking with a Bush gun and a 12.7 pistol will work just fine.

What I'm wondering is where all these guns came from I'm think probably several stashes left around Zion I mean I'd really like to know seeing as gow the trailer showed that the tribals are heavily armed and Graham has a pile of .45 auto pistols I counted 20+ so there has to be some place he got them from, anyone else have any ideas.
