For me the first one I can think of was in December 2011, when I checked the mail. There was a big envelope in there, and once I read it's contents I was super excited/happy to know I got into my top choice university! I am so excited to go, I can't wait!

What was your happiest moment?

I went to Estes Park, Colorado with my grandfather and friends over spring break. We went sledding at 9:00 pm and went a ski resort where we all promptly busted our asses multiple times.

When I started my apprenticeship in an awesome college
When I met my girlfriend
When I got the highest mark in the class on one of my projects
When I was introduced to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel

Happiest moment of 2011 was December 31, when it was over. Very uneventful year for me, hopefully 2012 kicks it up a notch (e.g. find a job or the apocalypse, either sounds interesting).

No, but I've looked back on my entire life and though that. Except that collectively, over the course of my life, I've probably only drunken about a tenth of a glass of alcohol, so I have no clue what the hell was going on the whole time.

- Having my first child October 5th (girl, 8 pounds, 20.5 in)

- Becoming a Canadian Permanent Resident October 20th (citizenship late 2014)

- Having our first wedding anniversary October 27th

Wife and I are making plans with some friends of ours, family, and another friend we met from a game we played for Cedar Point early summer 2012. I can't wait to get on the Top Thrill Dragster and Millennium Force -- been drooling over those for years. :banana:

When It Ended

Seriously the only thing I liked was the start of the new season of MLPFIM since i'm a brony that's about it. Had no luck with a job as multiple establishments turned me down even for entry level (Boot licker) jobs like janitorial services, bagging at a grocery store, etc... . Learned a hard truth to boot that even entry level positions have hard requirements even though they might say "no experience required".

Highly doubting 2012 is gonna be better for any of us.
