It has been a nice Valentines day. Bought myself a new switch from a Newegg sale.

And after I made you a beautiful Christmas card, too! Not that you'd remember, you were drunk.

Where's my Christmas card? :(

Went fine for me. Though I feel kinda cheap because the candy by girlfriend gave me was nicer than the kind I gave her.

Happy St Valentine's Day, the lot of you!

My day was pretty good, work went OK and I got a few goodies along the way, then I spent a good part of the evening with two lovely young ladies, even though one of them was sick again. :( Interestingly enough, I found out that the one who's got my head all twisted around is not back with her ex-boyfriend like I thought that she was. Did not get the chance to see if I could take her out some time, but our conversations were.... interesting. :whistling: Pretty good night, even though it wasn't too different from any other time I hang out with her.

Im in a much better mood than when I posted in this thread the first time. I don't hate Valentines Day...but I still don't like spending money .

For the purpose of this thread, here's what I got for my girlfriend: http://www.flickr.com/photos/76675894@N04/6879230645/in/photostream. She likes artsy stuff like that. I had to ask her about the scarf, because she told me she wanted one that we had looked at a while back, so I had to make sure it was the right one, but the necklace was my little surprise. She loves both and I certainly earned a lot of boyfriend points.

I saw a lady checking out at a supermarket today. She appeared to be in a very sour mood and she was buying a dozen donuts and a half galon of chocolate milk. Now, for me, this Valentine's day was one of the greatest (if not THE greatest) days of my life. But having gone through most of my life completely single, I just want to point out that there are a lot of people out there who have no one and for them Valentine's day is one of the most depressing days of the year.

This is my first Valentines with someone. My girlfriend is in another state right now but it still feels good. Usually it doesn't if you get my meaning.

Happy Valentines to all.

I didn't celebrate it in any way... My mom got my dad a nice tablet though, which really caught him off guard. I thought that was sweet. We're not wealthy by any means, so her saving to do this makes me all sappy. I remember as a kid, my dad would drive home from work and stop by a flower shop, walk around back to the dumpsters behind the shop and get a bouquet out of the trash because flowers were too expensive.

Those looked just as good though.

I did go to a scripture class tonight, and go figure, the attendance was pretty low. Of the people there, 80% were male, which I found quite funny. I don't feel disappointed in any way of how the day turned out. I'm not really interested in dating right now, mostly I'd like to learn to love who I am before I work on loving someone else..
