just got off the phone with jb hi fi and eb games. they seem pretty oblivious to the european broken street dates. if your aussie and your local games dealer starts selling, let us know here.

LOL. you obviously dont know many of the staff then. EB has broken at least 3 AAA titles this year.

its not the big game stores that break the date, its the stores like Kmart and Target that break the date because they dont make any money on video games. BF3 is a prime example, it was broken by a target store in chatswoot, the neighbouring JB-Hifi found out, they went and brought a copy from the store (company policy for all the big retailers as its proof the game is being sold) then they ring up the higher ups and tell them they have proof that a rival is selling early and from there the higher ups say yay or nay.

I am popping around to my local small EBGames store about 7 hours before midnight tomorrow and putting the hard word on them. I dunno if they will be open at midnight to release my pre-ordered Skyrim to me. If they want to be nasty and refuse, or not open at midnight ... I guess I'll be calling in first thing Friday morning for my copy. :unsure2:

It looks like the retailers around Sydney are also being good little boys and girls. I've not see or heard of any early releases at this stage. I'm getting a postal delivery so I doubt I'll see it until Friday, maybe tomorrow if I'm extremely lucky and be ready for midnight gaming.

i work at ebgames in newcastle and it is comeing in the stor 2day but my boss realy thinks that it will break like bf3 did the day befor it was coming out
