Obviously this is a lie. A DLC like that would svck because the Thalmor need to be saved for the next game.

Really, what is the appeal of going to war with the Thalmor? They don't behave any differently than the NPCs that we've encountered already, and we saw how Bethesda covered the Civil War.

All in all, fighting the Thalmor just sounds samey, which is why I'm so confused about people complaining about those of us who want Werebears and the like.

EDIT: Got dyslexic and spelled "saw" as "was." Silly me.

Well, for one, "War With The Thalmor" doesn't seem to be a creative name for a DLC, so I'd throw that out the window. However, fighting the Thalmor is the largest unresolved conflictt in Skyrim so I wouldn't doubt that there is going to be a Second Great War DLC.

Ive heard that the net game takes place in azura's butt and it's called the winds of time. Just as credible.

Agreed. I don't understand what's so interesting about a Thalmor DLC.

I thought the next one was called Riders of Hammerfell.
That was one everyone kept pairing with Hearthfire a month or two ago.

I will say this again that would be the biggest waste of a DLC because the next game would be great if it was about the Second Great War, a DLC wouldn't do it justice.

Well, that's exactly my point. That's all people want from a Thalmor DLC really. I don't see anything interesting coming out of it. Although, there is never enough Thalmor agents that need to be killed of course.

But, I don't see it DLC worthy and there is plenty of Thalmor wondering around in the vanilla game that can be decapitated.

I would love to be able to take Tiberius and Matilda to Summerset and chop up some evil racist elves.

However, I agree with the prevailing opinion. 'War with the Thalmor' does not sound like an authentic title for a Skyrim DLC.

I didn't say that it would be a good idea for a DLC, I just said it is likely.
I somewhat agree with you, especially that the Second Great War would be a good next game but its rare for a company, especially Bethesda, to carry out a conflict into the next game. They would have more time to make a better storyline, combat, missions, etc. if they continued it to a next game. Once again, it is rare for Bethesda to carry out conflicts into future games so I wouldn't expect that.

No. I happen to know that the next DLC will be Bethesda's version of Nintendogs. You will raise a Skeever, taking special care to look after his needs. You need to feed him, keep him warm, give him exercise, and love. Bethesda has shifted their focus from making content driven RPGs to gimmicky sims games. I got this from an inside source who eats from Bethesda's garbage bins.

Don't say his name! You might get into trouble. :whistling:

I don't think there is any info on the next DLC since Hearthfire just released its trailer today.
