I'm more steaming pretty hard because of how vocally disappointed I was. I think my dog is scared of me now. I could teach sailors a few new words. Also, screw this nonsense.

MS servers for XBox usually update at 2am PST. Only time I have seen them update earlier is big release dates like MW3, BF3 or something else where they expect over 5mil ppl to log onto their live servers.

It will most likely be released around 6-9 am est.
And around 6:10 - 10:10 am est the "Why can't I adopt kids" and "Why can't I marry " threads will most likely begin to flood the forums. I know, I'm being THAT guy, but don't say I haven't warned anyone of a potential upcoming mess of complaint threads.

Despite potential shortcomings, Hearthfire looks to be pretty decent anyway. Even if it may or may not appeal to every fan, it does add a fair share of interesting elements to the game.

I agree 100%. If it's not out by the time I go to bed, I'm going to boot up my Xbox when I actually wake up as opposed to just having my eyes open, see if it's there. If so, I'm going to try to avoid these forums for a while because of the very complaint threads that you speak of. I know you can't please everyone, but some people take it to a whole other level. I'd rather be humbly building real houses in a fake game world than listening to that sort of nonsense.

And why shouldn't there be? It's ridiculous that bethesda doesn't add multiple races of children when ADOPTION IS AN OPTION. What the [censored] I look like having my Argonian adopt some pale-ass nord. It's ri-dic-u-lous. Better be multi-race children.

It's a simple feature and one I don't doubt Bethesda will overlook. But I guess since you could care less it comes off as ridiculous complaints....

It's a simple feature

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you there. It wouldn't be rocket science to do it, but it sure as hell wouldn't be "simple". They would have to create multiple new character models, get multiple voice actors, script everything to work together within the Vanilla game. It's just not point and click, bam, we have new child races. Personally, I would love seeing a little scaly or furry kid running through the streets, but it all comes down to practicality and logistics.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with complaint threads per say, I'm just pointing out that it's likely we'll be seeing some really bad reactions tomorrow if certain things are not there. I personally want to see more child races added in for the adoption feature because otherwise, it kind of leaves out those who don't primarily play as humans.

It kind of creates this void, and places a whole lot more emphasis on the human races, making it THAT less desirable to play any character besides a human in Skyrim. It subtracts from the limelight feature of being who you want, which was emphasized so much in pre-release.

By the way don't use the Xbox live website to see if it's up. When Dawnguard was released the website shown nothing but a trailer, but they advertised it as the actual DLC.

So you're saying to access the marketplace via the console?

Yeah, every DLC is different. Your best bet is to watch both the website and the console dashboard. I've found that the website is usually updated first, but not always. We shall see..

Well I'm going to stay up for this. Hopefully they release at Midnight PST but most of the time time they do tend to update around 2AM PST. *Crossing fingers for midnight release though.*

And usually MS updates the website first, but who knows~ :ermm:
