I know that feel, bro. Nowhere near as bad as when I waited in-store on the night of 11.10.11, though. Hahahah.
Lol, that almost makes me glad I didn't get it until late-November/early-December. All of the hate/non-constructive criticism on here blows my mind. This game is remarkably pleasant to not just play, but to experience. I've rolled at least a dozen characters, played three to the max level without the Infinium glitch, and I'm still coming back for more. Maybe it's because I'm a writer, so backstories and character development come easy to me, but I have endless ideas about future characters. And within the next six hours (hopefully), I'll finally be able to build some damn houses.
On a side note, I really do hope they patched in some of the decorating glitch fixes, such as your items going all caddywhompus after you leave, bottles and such flipping upside down when you grab them, mannequins/display cases not functioning properly. Ohhhh, I have such high hopes even though I promised myself I'd go into this with low expectations.
