can't get entryway furnished jst says you can't afford that right now but i hve 27k gold

What annoys me is that I fully furnished my house myself before getting a steward.

When I got a steward, the options were available for her to furnish the place (even though I'd fully done it myself). So I paid her to do it, thinking she would add additional stuff. But she doesn't, there is no new stuff to add.

So this is a bug: the option for the steward to furnish a room should not be available if it's already been furnished by yourself.

I just want to be able to put stuff in the display cases without them jumping out everytime I enter.

I have completed putting furniture in Windstad Manor but I am unable to activate any of the dispaly cases to put stuff in all i can do is open and close them is this a known bug?

not a bug.. the cases are the same as they are in oblivion
you manually put items in the cases
the issue with that is the npc's in the house with you will pick up any item you drop
and you must first drop an item to get it into the display case

thats means you have already asked to do the entryway.. it should go away after you ask but does not
dlc is very very unfinished
