I have a sneaking suspicion the answer is yes. I bet beth is going to surprise us.

I doubt we would get more prospective partners, there seems plenty of them already. If we cannot marry them already there would be a reason for it that would be unlikely to change.

I want no lawyers in Skyrim thanks, so no divorce.

Personally I am not that interested in marriage, only one character has tried it out so far. Now if something happened to that lucky chosen one, being able to remarry would be nice. Especially if someone is planning on putting that partner in dangerious situations while in the players home. Usually staying at home is considered safe, something happens to the partner I do not want to be leaving any children at home alone.

I would also like my character to be able to remarry if something happened to the partner while out adventuring, there could be conditions attached to that, if they do not want us 'accidentally' losing any unwanted partners.

1 high elf, 0 khajiit.

I may hate those cat people, but I feel their pain. It's pretty sad there isn't at least one choice per race/gender, I would hope the dev team had heard this and corrected it.

More marriage options would be cool indeed. But it's already awesome anyway...
I just hope Eric the Slayer will be 'unbugged' as it's impossible to marry him while you should be able to according to the Game guide.
I made him Eric the Slayer and hired him a couple of times so you should think that 'd be enough for a guy in Skyrim to be 'into me' but no... no dialogue options... ;-)
Refusal in Skyrim, it happens. But hey, that's part of RP too I guess... :-)

Yes, but there's enough non-married NPCs to give each of the other races around five possible spouses of both genders.

oke guys and garls there is one thing, bosmer and cat people dont have it in there culture to get married that is why thay left them out of the option.
what thay should be doing is that one could maby become partners or bunk buddys if you get my drift.

Nowhere in the lore does it state weather or not there is Marriage traditions in Elsweyr or Valenwoods culture, Don't try to put some lore behind Bethesda's laziness in that part >:|

Re-marrying should be an option if your spouse dies... this for the 360, too. I prefer to have my spouse follow me, and were it not for keeping multiple saves, I'd have been a young widower indeed. I recall this cavern with two or three very skilled pyromancers... They took her out twice.

......What? As Ordun mentioned, that is never stated in the lore. Arcona provided an example in the game. In addition, Oblivion also had a http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Heinrich_Oaken-Hull-http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Hasathil couple.

Look he's got some lollies.

Lolicons and Loli's, Shotacons and Shota's in Skyrim?

I think in a future DLC they should allow ALL marriable persons to become followers. Why can't your wife follow you around? plus your wife shouldn't be locked in the house all day, Skyrim is a huge province to explore.

I just want to take Miuri along with me.. even though shes absolutley bonkers.

I hope they gave more characters already in the game marriage options. One that comes to mind is in White Run, Carlotta. She already has a daughter so you can get married and gain a child in one fell swoop, thus ending her suitor plague.

Carlotta should only accept if the suitor is a woman. That would explain ... some things. (I was disappointed when she wouldn't marry a female character of mine.) And it would disappoint every man in the city.

Idgaf. They should have at least included one per race/gender. Ideally one per race/gender/orientation, but I doubt that will ever happen.

If you listen to M'aiq the Liar, the developers imply that Khajiit are not born as children. Of course, in Oblivion they tried to get away with retconning werewolves out of the lore, implying that it was all just a myth. And in Skyrim, they imply that the Shadowscales exist and don't exist anymore at the same time.

Yeah, they really need to stop rewriting the lore every time they have to explain why something in the lore isn't there in the game. It's convoluting the lore, and as a result, they end up having to just retcon the lore all over again, cyclically.
