Hey Guy's...

My thoughts are with you and your family.
My granddad passed at Christmas and one of the weirdly nice things I remember is everyone trading great memories of him. Hopefully you've got lots of memories of her that you can share and treasure. :)

Wishing you all the best, I know memories might not be up to much right now.

I watched my nana die last month. Literally watched her die. It was a relief in the end.

My best to you and yours.
Relief or not, it still painful to watch someone you love pass away. I watched my father's health progressively worsen from mid August (02) until just before Christmas of the same year when he finally passed away, I was happy that he was finally out of pain, but ours was just beginning. It's been almost ten years now and I still miss him today.

OP, I honestly can't say anything that will make everything better, just know that in time the pain of loss will be easier to bear for all, but you still never forget. Remember the good times fondly, and cherish what time there is left.

May the warm light of atom and the strong hand of the Master guide you. But seriously, you are in my hearts. I wish your aunt the best of luck, and remember, someone will always be there for you.

Wow. It may not be as severe as your situation, but I know what you're going through on a very personal level right now.

Over the past 3 months, my father's health has been failing him and of course there have been a myriad of hospital visits and surgeries because of it. Just being around it preys on your emotions and leeches any energy you may have on the inside. Mentally and physically. I know it may seem impossible to try and remain warm and positive in a time like this but please try and give it everything you've got, pal.

I'm definitely rooting for you and your Aunt. I truly mean it.

I'm not sure if this thread is allowed or not, if it's not just lock it. But. I just got word my Aunt is dying. She's been in and out of the hospital and she looked like she was gonna be okay for awhile. A couple years ago her lungs were really messed up and she was in a wheelchair with an oxygen tank she couldn't lie down or anything. So she decided to look up our family history, it turns out our family is related to alot of famous people. Now here we are in 2012. She was out of the hospital for awhile. Now she's back and dying... I'm sitting in the waiting room. My parents are visiting with her now. This is the nicest forum community i've ever seen and i would like you guy's to keep me and my family in your thoughts. Thanks.
You have it. I'll be sending warm and healing thoughts to you and your family during this time and hope that your Aunt may find rest from her illness.

*hugs*

Stay strong and don't be afraid to grieve in your own way.

Just saw this. I'm so sorry for you and your family. Be glad she no longer suffers. Carry her with you in your heart. She will live on through others forever.
