Hey Guy's...

Post » Sat Jun 23, 2012 1:40 pm

I'm not sure if this thread is allowed or not, if it's not just lock it. But. I just got word my Aunt is dying. She's been in and out of the hospital and she looked like she was gonna be okay for awhile. A couple years ago her lungs were really messed up and she was in a wheelchair with an oxygen tank she couldn't lie down or anything. So she decided to look up our family history, it turns out our family is related to alot of famous people. Now here we are in 2012. She was out of the hospital for awhile. Now she's back and dying... I'm sitting in the waiting room. My parents are visiting with her now. This is the nicest forum community i've ever seen and i would like you guy's to keep me and my family in your thoughts. Thanks.

I am so sorry to hear about your aunt. I wish the best for you. I know what you are going through, my mom passed away 2 years ago. This is a great forum, they helped me out alot when I had to be strong for the rest of the family.

I hope the best and pray to god everything turns out.

Hang in there. There are many shoulders around this forum if you need to vent; some of us have been your shoes.

AAAaaannndd now for something completely different:

How do you tune a fish?

One scale at a time!

just some a seven year old's joke to distract you for a while. Kind of like writing in very small font which can distract as well. Kind of like breaking someone's good foot to take their mind off the other sore foot :P

Good Luck!

I know what it's like to sit in a waiting room. Not fun, not fun at all.
I hope everything turns out alright.

Just got home. She's still alive for the moment. She can't talk as she had a tube in her throat but she mouthed to all of us that she loved us.

I'm sorry.

My uncle, who I was pretty close to, passed 2 years ago. He lived through a brain tumor at the age of 5, treated with radiation, as that was the only technology they had then. Then, he had another that was lieing dormant since his 20's and showed up in his early 30's, that was removed successfully. Then he had a stroke and couldn't move his lower body and right portion of his torso and couldn't talk (he would still play video games with me with one hand ). He was at about 75% recovery and could somewhat speak and walk, then he had a seizure and ended up in the hospital, pretty much brain dead and died 3 days later, I was at his bedside alone while my parents and grandparents were talking to hospice. So, long story short, I know how you feel.

Anywho, who were the famous people you are related too?

Edit: Nevermind, you already said it :P

a little bit of black humour always cheers me up, even when I'm in the pits. If it's your thing, go for it. All the best.

As do I. I lost my gran last year and I lost count of the amount of time I spent sitting in a waiting room in the hospital.

I'm sorry for you and your family - I hope you guys are doing ok.

I watched my nana die last month. Literally watched her die. It was a relief in the end.

My best to you and yours.
