How long will the game last you?

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 2:24 am

You know what, I'm still playing Morrowind, and have stuff left to do in Oblivion. I had Oblivion on my PC for years after its release and played it regularly, so on and off, until the next TES game and beyond.

Hard to judge length of time in months/years due to work and school, but I invested over 400 hours in vanilla Oblivion (I am an Xbox 360er, my pc won't run shiny new stuff any longer) with it's DLC. So safe to say I will probably get a lot of enjoyment out of Skyrim since everything points to it having more replay value than OB (in which I only played 2 characters due them being awesome-ultima-gods-of-warrior-mage-thief-assassins-all-rolled-into-one!).

Years. To this day, even after playing it for I don't know how long (maybe a year) I've never finished the Morrowind story and haven't finished Oblivion's either. I get sidetracked by all the other content, mods, and other games and stuff. So yeah, Skyrim's still gonna keep me until TES VI hehe

Out of interest, how long do you expect skyrim to last you?

I've taken my time with previous titles and plan to do the same, but I know some people will just rush the main quests.

I know it's difficult to say, but I'd say the same will last me between 1-2 months. It's definitely a game I'll be able to come back to in future though.
well lets seee. i played morrowing until oblivion came out... i played oblivion until skyrim came out... so unless they really screw this game up, im goiing to be playing it until TES6 comes out.

I loved Morrowind, played it off and on for many many months. I hated Oblivion, played it for a total of a few hours at most. I am really hoping this game last me till SWTOR comes out to be honest if it lasts that long I will be extremely happy.

What is this end, you speak of?

The end of the world? Most likely.

At least until BGS's next title. (Fallout 4? *fingers crossed*) BGS is my favorite company on Earth, and they make my favorite games on Earth. Their games take presidence over all others, without doubt.

I may take a short break to play Saint's Row The Third but this will definitely last me until Soul Calibur V/Reckoning comes out early next year.

Wow, 1-2 months is considered taking your time?? :)

If past chapters in the series are any indicator, the game will last me about 2.5 years and 400 game hours.

Until Dec 21 2012, OBVIOUSLY. Does no one pay attention to the history channel anymore?

History for The History Channel: Aliens, Bigfoot, End of The World, Illuminati, Conspiracy, Mummies, real history.

Maybe 60 to 100 hours before I am completely bored of it, but if it turns out to captivate me and not frustrate me then I'm going for the full 300 hours that has been reported. With a break somewhere this or next month to play some Torchlight II, which might put a serious dent in my Skyrim play time.
