6,695. I hardly ever break 10,000 caps. My stats say the most I've ever carried was 14,882.

Just above 50k. When i buy stuff, usually shipments of whatever i need, i trade as much in to make the vendor go broke.

Level 22, I have about 5000 caps after recently buying Home Plate. I also don't build settlements, and my main source of income is Jet or purified water along with looting.

I've got about 60k, and they've just accrued without any effort on my part. I'm level 57 and have made no effort whatsoever to improve my barter rate through perks, or to actively pursue any cap-earning strategies.

I really hope there is something to spend all this cash on. Maybe they should introduce a strip bar and "hotel" in one of the DLCs....

Level 75 with 41,000.

Like in any RPG, hoarding loot and treasures is all I needed to do.

A little over 200,000. Mass-scale water farming is the key to riches in this game.

Level 70.

Approaching 150k caps. I sell lots of water, and also dropped loot. I also bought a lot of concrete and wood to build my settlements.

I don't have a lot because I usually don't liquidate my assets until I have a reason to. I have thousands upon thousands of caps worth of stuff I just haven't sold.

My first character (let's call her SS1 -- Sole Survivor 1) ended the game at level 64/65 (I can't remember) with around 60,000c. SS2, the one I'm working on now, is currently level 35 with around 25,000c. I anticipate that by the time SS2 reaches level 64/65, she'll have exceeded 60,000c. I used to barter for ammo (no caps exchanged hands), but now, SS2 is swimming in ammo. She averages at least 1300 rounds of every weapon she uses on a daily basis and hasn't bought any in weeks.

And if I sold all the massive amounts of stuff each of them has collected, I'm sure they'd approach 2-300,000c each. There aren't enough caps on all the vendors in the world to accommodate all this stuff.

I've come to realize there's really not much need for caps in FO4.

114k or so.

I never spend caps for anything except setting up settlement shops, everything else I barter for using water or drugs (which I make a lot of). So the caps tend to pile up.
