How powerful is this guy!?

Post » Thu Nov 08, 2012 11:38 am

He obviously trained and prepared himself in Dawnstar. They host a dragon hunt and barbecue on every day that ends with -das.

*crushes visor in his hand*

What, 9000? There's no way that could be right!

Don't forget this guy is supposed to be a high ranking dragon priest. They got their own set of powers, plus being the 1st dragonborn with the dragonborn set of powers. But regardless, I want his outfit. It is awesome.

Actually i hope he is tougher than "Gaenor". A proper fight, without awesome T-shirts.

Oh god, gaenor is an [censored]. I remember the first time i killed him it took me like an hour, running away with the boots of blinding speed, hitting him with spells. now THAT was a boss fight, haha. Bethesda still hasnt topped anyone stronger then that guy yet.

Bloody Gaenor. He knocked my battlemage's hide into the ground like no living or undead creature before. He also makes one paranoid of beggars.

Where are people getting the fact they he killed three dragons with no weapons. The final scene is just him absorbing their souls just like Dovahkin does. How he killed them is unknown. The narrator said, "He didn't serve them, he devoured them", again that is just a dramatic way of saying that he absorbed their souls.

Now imagine Ozzy is Dovahkiin. He'd do same to dragons.

His outfit does make him look like a monk though.

Wispering fang style anyone?

I suspect he will have at least one shout we do not have. A powerful one that aids in the killing of dragons.

Sounds like you did get a free ticket to Sovngarde, at least.

Been there once. Got rushed around, the food was cold. Olaf wouldn't shut up about that bard...
And you step out for one smoke break and they don't let you back in. And someone needs to get that...skeleton bridge up to scale. Thing's dangerous.

But... You can't die in.. Sovngarde? Perhaps if you fall down, you will land into a huge barrel full of mead.

Yes you can. You are a living mortal. I died 8 times in the battle with Alduin before I realized that I was using the wrong shout.

He would summon the crazy train and he'd run you over with it and laugh!

Well it makes sense. In that case, that dragon spine bridge should get fixed asap.

Am I the only poor bastard who has been jumped by three dragons and lived?

They weren't legendaries (Dawnguard wasn't out yet), but it was still a [censored].

Two legendaries is my limit,. I almost died more times in 5 min than in the rest of the game combined.

After that I made sure I always had my dragon slaying gear on me.

I REALLY hope he will be very tough to battle. And that's not about damage numbers and his armor rating - I can change it in the difficulty setting. What I mean is gameplay-wise, tactics and so on. If not, then the whole hype about him is pointless. Don't tell me about how "other people" wouldn't want it to be too difficult. That'll just show how far Beth has fallen, for you to expect them to care that much about those "other people".

Yes it is.

Yes you can.

IT WASN'T MY FAULT, OKAY?

Yeah, that dang bridge was the most dangerous thing I encountered in Sovngarde. Evil mist? Bah. The World-Eater? Meh. Hightailing my Dragonborn ass back across the bridge because I was dilly-dallying in the Hall of Valor ("well hello there big strong ancient Nord hero guy... how you doin'?) and suddenly realized that my three designated dead allies had taken off without me and gotten a huge headstart? Um... yeah. That was bad.

The worst part was realizing that I was, in fact, falling off the bridge, and thinking how irritating it was gonna be circling back around and climbing back up to where the action was, and then next you thing you know I have a killcam of my poor little Dovahkiin tumbling down the side of some abyss, bouncing helplessly off the rocks, bounce bounce bounce oh sheet I'm actually DEAD? :swear:

If that were true, I would have seen a lot more Nords over the side.

Did you fall off???

No but I did spit over the side, and...Well, I heard something down there...Wasn't eager to find out.
