Am I weird for never enjoying anything Dragon Ball?

Not enjoying wasting hundreds of hour of life on a show that showed lines during most of the fight?

Pretty much. Even as a kid I thought it was just straight action, with a contradictory story.

How to improve it?

Put it back on its old time slot for one.

Is there anyway to get this on Sky?

I watch advlt Swim every night, but barely stay up to watch Toonami because it is on so freakin' late (Even the good stuff is on at like 2AM! )

I have a weekend job now so I haven't even gotten to watch it in like 2 months since I don't stay up late on Saturday anymore but I am happy that it is back on and although it isn't all the old shows, I'm glad there are new ones anyways, I enjoyed Deadman Wonderland.

How would GT kill it?

That'd mean the more mature stuff on it now probably would have to be butchered if they wanted to keep it the way it is. I'd rather not see Deadman Wonderland become 10 minutes long per episode.

I only like the original Dragon Ball. I can handle the drawn out card games in Yu-Gi-Oh, but could never understand why it took two episodes(hopefully at worst) for two dudes to punch eachother when saving the planet.

Just found out why these fights took so long. The anime was made during the run of the manga. Know how Bleach has so much filler? Well, Dragonball Z had long fights for the same reason Bleach had so much filler. To keep the anime version from getting ahead of the manga. Turns out, Dragonball Z's manga actually progressed at a better pace.

That won't happen if you believe in the heart of the cards.

WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT! They just announced they are bringing back One Piece to Toonami in two weeks! HUZZAH! Was watching my recording of tonights episode of bleach and at the halfway point intermission, as I started to fast-forward, I saw One Piece being showed, so I stopped, rewound, and that's what was said. Hip Hip Hooray! One Piece is coming back to Toonami

Erk. I should have watched all of it. They are, for whatever odd-ball reason, starting two hundred episodes in. I don't even know if they were THAT far when they left off a few years ago ><
