no they dont, using a sawmill is still useless. it doesnt make sense why they dont let us saw our own logs to use. i thought they would finally make using the sawmill useful and using the grain wheel but they didn't...really beth? you need to stop having so many useless things in the game and start making them useful, especially misc items that are only good for clutter atmosphere
Ummm... they did make those things useful with the HF DLC...
As long as you have permission from the Mill owner (and you must get their permission), you can cut your own logs
for free. As long as you have wheat, you an use the Flour Mills to grind wheat into flour you use with the much expanded Cooking options in the game. Which goes even more in depth if you take the Kitchen wing for your new manor.
Did you read Kale or mine earlier posts where we explained this? Did you do any research before providing a sentence of death for the DLC?
These things aren't useless anymore. they have a purpose now.

I will try this later to see if it works. Clearly it must since you have done it. Unless you can only do it at the one in riverwood. am trying to use the one at Morthal.
