You can hear Farkas say 'Draw-ger' during the Companions quest where you venture into a tomb with him as well.

I just say... Draugr.
Not the "ow" sound but the "auw" sound.

"Drow-gr". We're in Skyrim, after all. In my native Scandinavian language, "au" is a diphthong and pronounced "ow", not "aw".

You can hear Farkas say 'Draw-ger' during the Companions quest where you venture into a tomb with him as well.
Yes, but during the Korvanjund quest, the Stormcloaks say "Drow-ger". Guess there are different ways of saying it, like "daedra" and "deedra" in Oblivion.

I'm surprised that I actually had it right... drawger. Although I typically do my dungeon delving at 2am in a pitch-black room with a 42" LCD flatscreen as my monitor, so more often than not I call them "eeeeek!" I'm just glad no one's around to hear the girly little shriek.

Anyone happen to know how Hjaalmarch is properly pronounced? Specifically, is the H silent, and is the J pronounced as a J or as a Y like in jarl?

I think it's Draw-gr, at least that's how I remember Todd pronouncing it.

Stenvar comments about draw-gers all the time.

I say it just like it was another Polish word, with every letter clearly spelled.

Drow-ger. Seems wrong to pronounce the 'gh' somehow...

Actually I usually call them 'ugh, die!'

The Norse/Scandinavian/German "J" is pronounced as a "Y". So Jarl is pronounced "Yarl", Junkers is "Yunkers", etc...

Yep, the H is silent. In Norweigan, which is closest to the ingame "Skyrimspeech", it would be pronounced yaAL (pretty much as "y'all" but with a drawn out and rising a) - mark

Like Frogger, but with a D at the start. I'm pretty sure that's the pronunciation that the devs used as well.

This - listen when NPCs use the word and this is how they say it.

Depends if I'm feeling finnish or english at the time I think of the word...

When I'm thinking in finnish, it is "Dra-Ug-R".
But when I'm thinking in wnglish, is is "Draagr" or "Droogr".
