Humans Worse for Environment than Nuclear Waste

Post » Wed Dec 04, 2013 2:32 pm

It turns out that people are more dangerous to wildlife than massive radioactive contamination. Chernobyl is now at or rapidly approaching the wildlife diversity of a protected nature reserve, and several endangered species have been seen making their home there - one of which was previously undiscovered. Only the most radioactive sites continue to resist the encroachment of nature - the rest of it has become a haven for endangered species.

Irradiate the planet.

It's for the environment.

You can always be a part of the solution and sterilize yourself.

Was about to say that. We must prepare to find a new world to colonize and pollute it with our waste and drain its resources.

I must criticize humans for being cruel and careless to our earth even though I am no better.

Again, I must stress, if you really hate people and feel that we're overpopulating the crap out of everything and destroying the environment, you can be a part of the solution by sterilizing yourself and/or be a part of land restoration groups.

Actually, nuclear products are useful. They can power our cars, supply power to homes and even allow you to become immortal in a constant state of regenerative necrosis! :D

I'm not really sure why it's surprising that a wild and overgrown if mildly irradiated stretch of land is better for wildlife than A CONCRETE CITY FILLED WITH HUMANS.

What would you rather be hit by, delta radiation, or a fricking car?

LOL this has to be a joke. I'll say it again, this planet has been here long before us and it will be here long after us. Nothing we do will change that. When the earth is done with us it will tell us; shake us off. This "save the earf" [censored] isn't about saving the planet. It's about prolonging our own miserable existence on this floating rock. This is almost as bad as the "Chemtrail Conspiracy".

I had to look it up (which is scary, since I used to work on reactors), but I'll take the delta radiation.

See Idiocracy. That would solve nothing. If you're smart enough to not want to reproduce, you should be reproducing.

Aren't we the reason nuclear waste exists in the first place?

Yes, exactly. Humans could not destroy life on earth even if we really tried. It has survived asteroid impacts for goodness sake :lmao: Sun still lasts about 4.5 billion years, there'll be plenty of interesting creatures living on this planet after us.

No, i won't be a part of the solution. I'll just be a part for the problem while complaining about why no one does anything about the problem. Like humans do :hehe:
