Regional releases don't work well in the 21 century. Star Wars I (4 movie) was the last AAA movie without global launch.

ESO has definitely gotten most coverage in the gaming press.

woah now with the negative vibes lol.

right now ESO is the only mmo on my radar thought there are a few more games i am looking forward to next year. none of them will eclipse ESO though and based on timing a few will be skipped. the first 3 months after launch i assume i will not even think about touching another game

High chance for this, guess lots of buyers will buy it as Skyrim 2. As in they will be disappointed its not an improved Skyrim you can play with friends.

Have tried to tell people that its not Skyrim 2, yes the group who think so is usually the ones who think it will ever be a Skyrim 2. The ones who know it will be TES6 tend to know better.

Your fooling yourself if you think most people wont know that ESO is a MMO. Game title alone will tell you it is an online game. ZOS had hoped and intended to market ESO for both the online crowd and the ES single player crowd. People are not as stupid as your trying to make them out to be.

I talk about people on other gaming sites, plenty of misunderstanding here, another one is that ESO will result on no TES6.

I don't think this is the majority of the players but its not an uncommon view.

No people are not stupid, more uninformed, you pick up some information fragments and go with that.

Some people might think if that TESO is very successful that Bethesda might not make TES: VI since they might worry that it will hurt the sales of the MMO and since MMO's bring in monthly sales. Likely quite a few of these people likely were Blizzard fans since that was the mind set when WoW was the only game being officially worked on and only expansions for it being made.

The other side might be thinking if TESO fails that they might think that TES: VI might not do as well and maybe that the franchise has hit the peak with Skyrim and the product is stale.

That's dumb. TES and FO are basically like printing money.

And I must point out yet again that just because WoW did it doesn't mean EVERYBODY will. Not making anymore Warcraft games after WoW was dumb, they could have dropped a blank disc with the franchise name into a box and sold it for 60 bucks a piece and raked in billions at the height of WoW's popularity.
