Then tell me one thing. What would be better? The Oblivion Dark Brotherhood Questline WITH Story? Or endless amounts of automatically genereated "Kill Person XY" Quests WITHOUT any real story?
I really hope we get BOTH. But i'm not sure if bethesda thinks so too. It would totally kill the game for me if all or most of the faction quests are auto-generated.

So, both it is

With regards to Stormbird's point - yeah, you get tired of what are ultimately uninspired repetitive quests pretty quick - see pretty much any MMO questing ever
However, the goal with the Radiant Story system is more to get you started on adventures, and guide you to discovering interesting unique places around the world you may have otherwise missed. It basically helps give non-explorer type gamers a reason to explore. And, of course, this is the real joy of The Elder Scrolls games: Most of the fun is in the unexpected adventures that happen along the way. (For me, anyways!)
