Ingredients. Which do you think tastes the worst?

Post » Wed Nov 07, 2012 3:22 pm

Baked giants toe with fried sabre cats eyes. With a dash of vampire dust, a sprinkle of ground mammoth tusk, and a healthy bowl of spriggan sap.

I always got the feeling Spriggan Sap tasted like syrup maybe because they're tree people idk.

When my characters are just learning Alchemy, they tend to eat at least one of everything they find. My real world stomach has sympathy heaves with some of them.

Which is probably why most of my characters only dabble in Alchemy, never specialize or skill up in it.

It really didn't sound too bad to me, melt some of it over some baked potatoes and you got yourself a meal.

I was in Italy when I had some mullet roe over some noodle stuff and it was awesome but hey to each their own.

Bottarga? Sun dried mullet or tuna roe- very tasty!

Being a chef IRL , I would have most trouble with raw Skeever tail and trying the various mushrooms raw( as an avid mushroom hunter, very real dangers exist in eating wild mushrooms raw)

The majority of alchemy ingredients are repulsive. It's hard to choose just one. I definitely wouldn't want to try Jarrin Root, that's for sure.

Would death be so bad when comparing it to the bad taste of some of the other ingredients? :dead:

I'm surprised only one person has mentioned Falmer's Ear.

It's a Falmer's Ear, from a stinky, dead, corpse, that has lived underground for its entire existence, and it probably doesn't bathe and only touches water when it falls in it

It's bad but you think it's worse than a Giant's toe? That's a big ole Giant walking around all day stepping in god knows what, and I highly doubt he cleans them so you can imagine what's under that nail of his.

Because it's his mission to make ingredients that out shines the previous games in a gross scale. Just wait till next game when we start picking up animal droppings.
