Yeah, the orthodox Jews appear to be more extreme and, in fact, some Jews don't like them. I once saw in the news that some orthodox Jews were moving into a neighborhood where the other Jews were protesting against their coming. Also, my friend who's married went to Israel for a vacation and an orthodox Jew shake his hand but refused to shake my friend's wife. There's a reason for that but I've forgotten why.

It could be a cultural thing as I know Muslim men who won't shake a womans hand.

But what about the Jews that don't live in Israel?
