Invisible armours, Death Hounds and more bugs! #2

True, but the refund or the compensation can only come from Microsoft.
What I find the most irritating it is their lack of communication. I am curious to know how they would have behaved if that had been with american consumers.

Day 2 of nvdeguard: Still no further comment of Bethesda? I know the are working on it, but they could at least make a statement about the state of affairs.

What I'm curious about is if they can patch it or have to completely re-release it for the foreign language versions. I've heard conflicting stories on whether or not a DLC is easily patched or not.

well, i am not an expert but as far as i can see it is a misnaming of texures/objects....the procedure should be ..find the mismatching names, rename them correctly .....so the textures can be found....should be possible with something looking similar to a spellchecker...find the...wrong named 'adress" ...filling in the correct name for it...search / replace / search / replace.... a tedious job, but basically a monkey's job, nothing toooooooooo difficult. Funny, it is a regular modders mistake, not to be expected from professionals. I am most displeased by the sloppy work of Bethesda, somebody at Bethesda quality control and/or programming should be in search of a new job very soon, i recommend waste disposal or gardening.

I think this might set a new record for Bethesda's buggiest release.
Anyone remember what the last one was? Wasn't The Pitt completely broken too?

The worst it is that a simple message would satisfy many dissatisfied consumers.

I think that this time it's worse than their previous release because that corrupts even the basic game.

For that reason I deleted the dawnguard DLC from my Xbox360, so the game went back to its original state without the dawnguard issues. When theres a patch available I just download it again.

What I notice it's that bethesda and Microsoft managed the exploit to put all the europeans agree at least on one subject.^^

Oh, the initial german release of Oblivion was a real gem too. If the translators spoke german they hid that fact quite well, because someone seemed to have used google translator for the most part. Tutorials were a mix of german and english with some gibberish thrown in for good messure. They also took quite a few liberties to make things sound 'cool'. The result was an extraordinarily bad translation.

Torchlight had been translated as starlight, our first healing spell was called fireball and the healing power mara's gift had not been translated at all eventhough gift means poison in german. You see, here in germany we have no use for the restoration school. We seal our wounds with fire, drink some poison and keep on fighting.

Wow... That's pretty abysmal.

On a side note, German health care sounds terrible.

It is going to be 6 pm, that begins to be long. When they indicate tomorrow (and it was yesterday), it was according to the American time zone?

Yesterday they said that could be updated today. And today is today.
If the patch is not ready today I think there should be some release from Bethesda.

"When you put all this time into something and someone can’t play it, you feel terrible. They have every right to be pissed off. We already have more updates out for this than Fallout 3 and Oblivion in their lifetime. So we’re really committed to fixing everything."

Todd Howard, February 2012, Game Informer

If you didn't repeatedly release buggy stuff you wouldn't have to keep repeatedly releasing updates.

Sorry for your pain, Europe. If it wasn't so sad, and true, it would be funny.

I don't recall that (got mine originally in English), but I do recall the horriawful translation work on potions. "Starke Getr?nk der Wiederholung," or as it's known on the list, "St. Ge. d. Wiederh." You'd go through a list of "St. Ge. d." or "Sch. Ge. d." which made it an absolute nightmare to find ANYTHING.

Oh yes, the release of Oblivion and the german translation...I remember everything, horrible. But Bethesda seems to like their bugs as every game is quite buggy -.-'

It's a shame that there isn't even any news about how are the things going, if they can bring a quick solution, what are they going to repair it, if there will be an update or a new corrected DLC version or what else. Admin we want some news and if you aren't going to make something quick, at least, refund our money!!! aghhhh so many secrecy...

There's nothing else like paying something that you can't use. It feels weird and stupid!

Bethesda only give a beta key to US or English user so only Spanish, French, and German version was unplayable I don′t know why they don′t give a Beta key to some German gamers or French,Spanish whatever !
