We'd get arrested for indecent exposure on our way to the battlefield.

Someting new here:

I love skyrim, i love elderscrolls, i love bethesda for their great job, and ok .. something got messed up with that latest add-on.. but i can not understand why their are so many "fans" reacting that way. i am a german (bytheway:sorry for my bad english) games developer myself and bought dawnguard on tuesday .. and after 60 minutes i noticed the bugs. ofcourse i was disappointed, but i never felt deceived - because bethesda is an enrichment to videogames and to my personal entertainment for many years ! ... it would be very, very unfair to go on a rampage now. the bugs are posted ... it would be a nice gesture to leave it at that and just wait a few days for the patch.

so please calm down, i am sure , they are working 24/7 to get dawnguard working and afterwards you will love them again for their great work

i think it will be patched very soon... i am looking forward to a great addon...

Iam sorry but i cant accept that and its invalid. We paid for something that we didn't receive. You make it sound like a small fry,but its not.If this was your company and you delivered me this piece of ass. I wouldn't buy any more products from you.Its disrespectful, lazy and unacceptable.

PS"love them again for their great work?!Iam not their butt slave. If they did their work in the first place we wouldn't be here.

Yes, you are right. But I cannot understand why they did not test this addon before publishing. I think many people are very disappointed, because of their great expectations. And in my opinion they better should have waited with the release than give us an unplayable DLC, which destroyed our first Dawnguard experience.

And I don't care at all if Todd says how we are right to be angry bla bla bla. Then do something, or make people do something concrete.

ok i admit some people in these forums seem to be a bit rude and impolite about Beth having messed it up. But as you're a game dev yourself, doesn't it bother you that they obviously haven't tested their product before they released it? I mean ok, you realised the bugs after 60 (!!) minutes, but most of us, who just started the first mission an rushed to the castle realised it after 5-7 minutes...so how much testing would have been needed to see something's not right?!!
And btw, I'm not even the most upset about the fact they messed something up....I'm upset because they left the DLC online to download, knowing it's broken. Even without any kind of warning, disclamer or anything. Secondly the just don't inform us. I mean they told us they work on it and a patch should be there any day now, but kind of an update after a few days really would be nice. And sorry bout my english too (also German xD)

Exactly. The WORST part is that they left the DLC publicly standing there for download, without any DAMN warning. Like if it's a stupid joke.

Like if I'm a famous writer, and I release a sequel that many people wanted to read and then, everybody discover at the bookshop that all pages are white. Wtf?? As a publisher, I couldn't be that dumb and self-hitting.

I can't believe this crap, they could've fixed all that in a few days before releasing it.
As you can see there obviously wasn't any testing on side of bethesda or partners.
They took our money for nothing but who cares haha not me as long as I have something to smoke
but getting a fix today would be nice

People if you read the stickies you would know its not the DLC thats at fault, its an MS error. Its version mismatch error;

With the French, German, Italian, and Spanish versions of Dawnguard on Xbox 360, we are aware that players are seeing NPCs with missing armor. This is due to a version mismatch with the title update for those languages and we’re working with Microsoft to resolve it. We’ll let everyone know when it is available, and it could be as early as tomorrow.

Thank you for your patience.

It's funny because in the Spanish version of Dawnguard, the subtitle says: "Download it if you dare"

Certainly must be "daring" to download this pile of bugs.

I blame the people who are responsible for putting the data on the network. Thats Microsofts staff, not Bethesda's. Bethesda has ZERO control on the actual data uploading and servers for LIVE. Thats all MS proprietary systems.

Do you work at Bethesda?..Do you actually know where the problem is located?...Do you have any idea whatsoever about the issue and its origin?
Nobody knows right now, only Bethesda and Microsoft can anser our questions.

No matter whos fault it is, if I do not get an update until tomorrow, I will explode in a small smoke cloud. And then every employee of Microsoft and Bethesda will be a murderer :whoops:

Dude take your snippy attitude elsewhere, Im not the one at fault here. XBOX Live is soley owned and controlled by MS, everyone knows this. When data is placed on the live network its done by MS staff at MS data centers. This has been the case since LIVE started and is common knowledge.
