Does playing different races drastically affect your playthrough? Meaning, choosing a different race you will have a completely different experience

I honestly havent seen vampires up close, ive killed a few, but never even bothered to look at their faces. Ill see if i can find a few!

Spoiler
Come to think of it..there is a girl in Morthal that is a vampire, but she looked normal.

Can i put them in spoiler boxes and be safe??

You just get a pickaxe and go up to the ore. ores can be found in mines or mountains

as for different characters, ive only played one (imperial) and so far they point out my race a lot and dialogue can be different. Not to drastic i would think.

Thats a tough one. I love a lot of aspects about this game, but one of my favorite things to do is go to the snowy forest ares during a snow storm and just run around. Exploring is never bland and always fun (especially with dragons in the mix) so exploring is great. Im also obsessed with an spell called ice spike. Its awesome.

Yeah basically its a shield that stops magic from hitting you. You hold the button down and when you let go or run out of magicka it stops.

- Can you comfirm if charmeleon and/or open lock spells are still in the game en if absorb magicka works the same as in Oblivion (e.a. also reduces damage)?

- Do you know what the base speed of magicka regeneration is and how much the Atronach standing stone and wearing light/heavy armor affects this? Do the restoration recovery perks affect the base recharging speed or the speed you have after corrections?

- How the magic resistance perks on the Alteration skill tree add up? 10%/20%/30% or 10%/15%/20%?

- What's the effect of the Lord and Lady standing stones?

- Is the Advanced Armor perk on the light side of the skill tree also useful for smithing heavy armor (plate)?

- Have you dual-wielded one-handed weapons, and is it viable in terms of defence and stamina depletion against warrior-type enemies? Can you block with them and are block perks on the right side of the skill tree usable?

Edit: Sorry for all the edits. :P

After playing 60 hours, do you feel you have put a huge dent into the game(hopefully not)? I just hope this game will be as big as it is boasted to be.

Also, do you think skyrim is without a doubt game of the year material as boasted? Just want your opinion. ;)

Also, are there weapon plans/patterns or recipes(anything in general for crafting) that you discover on your own and learn? Or is everything just given to you via perks or.. Vendors? Not even sure if vendors teach you stuff?

Thanks for your time!

Thanks for the previous answer.
One more:
We know that there are spells that increase you armor in Alteration magic (oakflesh, ironflesh etc...)
But have you seen another protection spells in Alteration or only those?
Are there spells like : Reflect Spell, Resist Elements, Resist Magic or similar?

Do you know if light & heavy armor have the same effect on magicka regeneration rates? Can you give me an idea what the impact of armor on magicka regen is like?

No chameleon i think (it is a shout though) and no open lock spells that ive seen but The Tower stone lets you automatically unlock expert locks and lower. Not sure about absorb magicka

- Do you know what the base speed of magicka regeneration is and how much the Atronach standing stone and wearing light/heavy armor effects this?
It regenerates decently fast, not sure teh exact time, but their are plenty of ways to increase it. Im not sure if armor has an effect, but the atronach stone just says it slows it down. Not sure by how much.

- What's the effect of the Lord and Lady standing stones?
The lady increases every ability faster, but not as fast as the first guardian stones. The Lord makes you more resistant to both magicka and physical damage.

- Is the Advanced Armor perk on the light side of the skill tree also useful for smithing heavy armor (plate)?
id assume so, it doesn't say specifically.

Pretty much this ^
Also, to reiterate a previous question, have you seen any Open Lock or Water Walking spells at all?

I feel like i have but ive only completed the main quest, Dark brotherhood, and Stormcloak. Plus i have almost 30 quests open right now and 40 misc objectives to do!

Also, do you think skyrim is without a doubt game of the year material as boasted? Just want your opinion. ;)

ABSOLUTELY! Its incredible.

Also, are there weapon plans/patterns or recipes(anything in general for crafting) that you discover on your own and learn? Or is everything just given to you via perks or.. Vendors? Not even sure if vendors teach you stuff?

i think its just perks, because when i go to the forge it tells me what i need to make the ones i can.

Thanks for your time!

I know in whiterun i had to do quests to be able to. Not sure about any other city. Although in Solitude i could buy a house for 12,000. not sure if its because i earned the right or not.

i bought the whiterun house and it svcks. I also dont think you can upgrade, but not sure. its just empty and bland.

might be difficult to answer:
How flexible is the hotkey system? I mean, we've got two different hands, sometimes I might want a hotkey to select a particular item or spell with a particular hand, sometimes I might want to select an item or spell with both hands, sometimes I might want to select a particular pair of items/spells with my pair of hands, sometimes I might want to cast a spell that's already equipped in one hand as a two-handed spell, etc.

Also, can you list the basic types of spells available in the schools that you've used a lot of?

You can upgrade houses, OP. Someone confirmed it earlier. They are meant to be bland so that you'll sink your gold into upgrading(Diversifying your portfolio).

You click left trigger for left hand and right trigger for right in the hot key menu. If you want one spell in both hand you do both triggers on that spell.

Thanks!

- So the Lady standing stone is pretty much the same as the Lover?
- Do you know the percentages of resistances from the Warrior?

- Is it safe to assume you haven't perked in Advanced Armors?

- How do the magic resistance perks on the Alteration skill tree add up? 10%/20%/30% or 10%/15%/20%?
