I would just like for player vamp spells to not svck, and have some heavy vamp armor.

Just be a full vampire with a good vampiric drain and pretend the Ebony Armour is vampiric armour

Vampiric drain is never good. It svcks at all stages, as with all other spells that player vamps have. The whole no feeding thing is trash too when it comes to Volkihar vampires. That's for Cyrodiil vampires, not Volkihar.

Then just use normal destruction magic

That svcks too lol. Vampiric drain is counted as destruction I believe, thus why it svcks. Vampiric drain needs a massive boosts, and I mean massive. It's highest level of damage is less than the novic destruction spells. That's pathetic. But, I wouldn't want to see that fixed until they fixed they whole you not feeding makes you stronger. It should be the opposite. Feeding should make you stronger.

Then don't use magic or play a different game

Why would I play a different game? The magic in Skyrim (mainly destruction) is trash. I play a sneak character. The whole magic design in Skyrim svcks. It's all about cost instead of effectiveness

I don't know maybe you would go back to Oblivion?

Vampire Armor is called that because the people that wear it are vampires and that's what they wear. It's about them, not the player character. It's faction armor you can wear. You can't go demanding a heavy armor pair if no other vampires are wearing it. The vampires have no reason to have a design no one but you is going to use. It'll be like heavy thalmor armor. Just wear heavy armor you have. It doesn't need to be called vampire, or enchant heavy armor and call it vampire heavy armor. Bam, armor only you will wear designed by you.

I have used magic. I've done pure mage playthroughs. How else would I know that magic is trash? I played mage mostly in Oblivion when magic was actually good. I tried to do the same in Skyrim, but magic is terrible so I reluctantly switched.

Vamp Lord Form you cannot use all the time, and third person is clunky and hard to control. These are facts, defy me.

I use VL almost exclusively as its great fun, only time I dont is in townships then I just use normal magic. And I also use the 3rd person camera a lot anyway so Im well used to the nature of the camera. It is bugged however and will revert distances incorrectly. Other than that Its fine for me.

Yea the lack of heavy armor variants for vampire armor is sad. Oh well easier to kill if wearing light armor.

This can't possibly be true seeing how the size of VL alone limits it. That is a fact.

The Devs base designs off of lore. Not many vampires wear heavy armor since they are the sneaking bite/claw slashing/magic users and would therefore wear more clothing like armor rather than heavy armor (not accounting for Standing Stones). If the AI's could, they'd probably do more fights in Lord form than in their normal vampire state since its stronger.

The devs throw their own lore out the window. Skyrim and Dawnguard show that.
