Since when has spiked hair been in any western fantasy game?

thats not really the point though, there IS a lack in variety to the hair. its a matter of preference really regarding the spikey hair. i my self was looking for some med length hair but all of it was in a nordic style. i know its based in skyrim but there is a definite lack of variety in the hairstyles.

I always make miself in these adventure type games but it seems I can't possibly make miself because the game has some limits it seems.

1. Theres NO SHORT spiked alike hair, I mean u got like 101019959595 long haircuts and some bald haircuts and then you got 1 haircut with short hair which is not rly upwards, serously why couldn't they make 1 freaking spiked haircut??

2. Is it just me or do all the characters no matter how u make them look like 40+ at least, their faces are all full of wrinkles lol, what happened with being able to choose some age of the character?

How can I even start the game if I can't even make miself , guess il have to wait for some add ons..........................

I have preordered the game and still waiting for it. Its ok, Ill have it tomorrow or so. My order payment had not fully gone through.
But my point is, I had to quickly create an account here to answer this.

I just hope you are joking:-)

First, you probably wont see much of yourself with a helmet and watching yourself from behind in 3rd person perspective, or in 1st, not at all.
Secondly, reason for older characters, is cause they want you to look like the veteran you will become.
Humans primal strenght peaks between age 30 and 40, and with good pace of training you are rock hard at 50 to 60 still. People in their 20s dont even have all their physiqe fully developed yet. Your chest bone have not even fully connected, for your chest muscles to be able to peak, until your mid 20ths.
And as someone else said. A man in his 20s, placed in the situation Skyrim presents you with, would in most cases make it only to the first village and its bed, and probably find some local maid and then its game over.

I for one rather play a gray haired Noord with a weathered face and bulky arms swinging a 2h axe, then a pimp faced teenager with a choir boy voice wielding a dagger.

If you cant play a game cause the character does not look like you, then you should go and see a therapist. Final.

I do agree with more variety, from the presets they've gone from all hair gelled hair styles to all celtic/nordic hairdos

Races have preset looks about them. You're not going to get everything the way you want it. Also they don't have hair gel in Tamriel, so no spikes for you.

you could also wait for you to get wrinkles with age. then you'll be able to make yourself as a character ;)

It's a fantastic game. Bethesda can't cater to all of your needs. Like it or lose it man

Hair is something people have a problem with in every elder scrolls game, so there will be mods to fix this. Personally I actually like the vanilla hairstyles for once, but oh well. <3
