I'm actually worried bout this also. i prefer CoD knifing comapred to other ames because it makes sense. i wouldnt just stand their and look at you 5 feet away and knife the air i would lunge towards you. ik its only with the pistol. so anything other tahn a pistol its rifel butt which knocks them down. and what if im with a pistol? its still just a knockdown?

Yeah, you wouldn't just stand there. Doesn't mean you need an animation to move you forward while knifing, right? Push the little knob on the left forward, then use knife. Keeps you in control and takes more skill.
