Labyrinthian Confirmed

Scroll down to the "Atlas" blurb.
Poster map looks great, by the way. Bigger than Cyrodil, it seems.

"Each location, whether it’s a sprawling hold capital like Markarth, a giant dungeon structure such as Labyrinthian, or the tiniest hut like Anise’s Cabin, receives a screenshot"

You ninja'd me OP!! :o

Very nice. I knew I'd need maps.. I'd get so lost without them and spend too many hours antagonizing over what I'm missing.

I hope no one uses a map for Labyrinthian, that would defeat the purpose of a giant Labyrinth.
Also, apparently the poster map they are releasing on their blog, and assumedly packaged with the strategy guide, is the largest and most detailed game map ever made...

Atlas: The guide continues with more than 200 pages dedicated to every single location of important in the province; the Atlas. Adapting the Fallout formula, my co-author spent four months wandering through every one of the 350+ primary locations, and sourcing every collectible, trader, unique weapon, and area of interest. To put the sheer size of Skyrim into perspective; Fallout 3 had 115 Primary Locations. Plus, this guide has 200+ Secondary Locations, not shown on any in-game map, for you to stumble across (or head straight towards, if you’re following our precise guide maps and location entries).

These hard numbers are interesting. There were alot of weasel words used by devs when describing the world, I wasnt expecting 350 primary/marked locations.

This game really has more dense content than other Bethesda titles...

Well that was useful. I know that it is something related to a labyrinth. I guess I should have asked what it is in context to TES.
But I'm glad you got one more post to your count with that facepalm. ;)

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Arena:Labyrinthian. I never played Arena. I started at Daggerfall. I didn't know what it was, either.

True, sorry Dalamar. To be honest though, I don't know much about TES lore and I've never played Arena.

He also brings up quests in that article. He threw a number around like "because of Radiant story, there's atleast 500 quest variations" and "around seven times the quest based activities than in Fallout 3".

I still have no idea how many straight quests are in one playthrough of the game. Which I am very keen on knowing.
