Wrong, Nirn and Anu created the universe, Lorkhan a daedra created the idea of making the mortal world of Nirn and the et'ada are the earth bones. The Aedra are just beings that decided to back out of being earth bones but not fully returning to Aetherius.

Daedric Princes:
Depends on how you define "weaker" but in an overall aspet, yes. Aedra created, Daedra change. Aedra cannot change, Daedra cannot create. Oh, Aedra CAN die, Daedric Princes cannot.

If I can be serious for a moment, given Beth's recent trend with the lore, I have to wonder if they'd ever let us "kill" a Daedric prince. Something that major probably wouldn't happen due to fan outrage, but who's to say for sure?

Its a pretty big thing to change and would not go over well in the community, also the fact that they are major influences on the world and how events go further supports their role in the TES series.

well if you consider anu an aedra then I guess so, but even though the divines created nirn they were weakened by itnto the point of being mortal.

Actually, it was Anu and Padomay/Sithis.

Those two created all of the Aedra and Daedra. Where the Aedra are killable and the Daedra are not is because of Lorkhan.

He tricked the Aedra into putting too much of themselves into the creation of Mundus, and because of that they suffer from a limited form of mortality in that once they die, they cannot reform unless a particularly savvy Mortal can somehow Mantle themselves as the former God (ex. Talos).

The Daedra & their Princes were not tricked like this, therefore they simply go back to the Waters of Oblivion and reform at full power at a later date.

So yes, the Aedra are actually less powerful than the Daedric Princes. That's why there's no stories in the Lore about the Aedra marching into Daedric Realms and just whoopin' ass. The Daedric Princes are almost literally unstoppable while in their own Realms.

Anu isn't an aedra, though his blood created them.



True but Nirn did give birth to the world if you believe some books also the Daedra are more powerful because they have more subjects I.E. lesser daedra who don't actually die and their numbers rank in the thousands, also the Daedra lords ARE THEIR REALMS so attacking a realm is pretty stupid.

If people could kill them they would have a long time ago. Why do you think Mehrunes Dagon is in Skyrim? Cause he and the rest of the deadric princes can't die. If they could he would have died in Oblivon.

A soul can be collected easily, and seeing how Molag Bal can nearly corrupt any mortal and once a mortal is corrupt their souls belong to him it would be easy.
