Why does the lore say that Alessia was the first Jewel, and the other 8 were the Divines? Nevermind, found it through that other guys link. It is what it is then.

Yes, in fact, they are. Do you know HOW they "created" the "universe"? They gave up part of their power to do it, while the Daedra didn't, so that they could keep all of their powers. Meaning, that the Aedra, are in fact, WEAKER than the Daedra.
