I've been trying not to fast travel, but I really wanted to Join the dark brotherhood so i fast traveled between those initiation quests. But i try to use it as little as possible, the map feels way bigger then oblivion, i could explore it for hours. Sometimes i run into trouble...like spriggans... and then i run like hell lol.
I'm currently lvl 14, I dunno how long i've played, i'm guessing like 12-13 hours.

Level 11 Dark Elf, only really been leveling up one-handed and light armor with some smithing. The game is getting a bit easier now, but only because I'm too afraid of moving towards potentially higher level areas

I'm still level 1, but I know I've actually leveled at least once or twice. I just haven't cashed them in yet.

'Max' level is 70+.

I'm currently 28.

Max is exactly 81. That's where you end up if you get all skills to 100.

Level 14 now, 12 hours in. It's thankfully starting to slow a bit - I was levelling extremely quickly early on.

You don't. But the skills you use while playing the game tend to suggest what your class would be, so people use those instead of listing their character's skills. For instance, my Nord wears heavy armor and fights with a one-handed weapon and shield, so I say I'm playing a warrior, because it's easier.

As for my Nord, he's level 8, not sure how many hours I've put into the game so far. I tried starting out with a weapon in one hand and a lightning spell in the other, going for a Thor thing, but Block is too damn useful and shield-bashing is too much fun.

I am at lvl 33, and just got smithing to 100. It turned out that dreadric is tougher than bone armor(oh yea, anyone have an idea where go get dredra hearts?). Haven't started the main quests yet, only sidequests and dreadric shrines ;) Took down about 13-15 dragons so far. Oh yea, and i am playing on expert dificulty, master seems to be too challenging form times to times. The highey level you get, the easyer it becomes

I got a couple daedra hearts from the witches when doing the companions quest line.

Lvl 12 Imperial Mage, using destruction and conjuration mainly, although i also got a few skills in restoration. I still find it a bit challenging, but its fun. Also got a lvl 4 Nord Warrior type, heavy armour, shield and one hander x)

The first few levels come way faster so that you can go ahead and get a few perks. It'll slow down.

thanks! have to make the whole set. even being at 100 smithing, having enchanted items that increase smithing improvements does help even more! My dreadric sword is like 60 damage+ at ~50 one handed skill

Max is exactly 81. That's where you end up if you get all skills to 100.

There is supposedly at soft level cap of 50 where you stop gaining perks and levels, so you cant raise Health/stamina/magicka past 50. But you can still raise the different skills to 100.

As for me, I'm a level 11 Dark Elf focusing on 1-handed and light armor currently with 1 point into sneak for the 20% bonus, basically the idea of using 1-handed + magic, just haven't invested any perks into magic yet. Overall I'm really struggling playing this way, die way too easy.

There is no such thing. You can level to exactly 81. You get 80 perks on the way. It's been done.

There is a "soft cap" at 50, but you don't stop gaining perks/magicka/health/stamina. You just start gaining levels more slowly.

I'm a level 12 Nord. I primarily use a two handed weapon because my two handed stat is already above 50 and I have a lot of perks for it. I want to start focusing on magic more but am having trouble getting started as I'm not that powerful and only have minor spells. I did join the Winterhold College though. Any tips?

Lvl 17 High Elf. I'm going 100% magic this first time around. 1 hand for destruction and 1 hand for restoration. I do plan to use Alteration for protection and to increase spells.

Level 4, it has taken a lot of time to get a good tweaked ini that fixed graphical issues, improves graphics in general and keeps performance nice.

I really need to start doing proper stuff instead of chopping wood all the time.

honest pay for honest work. :celebration:

I am doing this and looting, saving up for a house. Have you guys seen the price of houses (not Whiterun) :ooo:

12 hours/level 11. I have been doing a lot of misc/side quest.
