Seriously, you need to get yourself a Wooly Mammoth.
I already have http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v300/wickedwoman/PICT2314.jpg lurking around in my front yard.

Need to know how long the line at Gamestop is so I can time it right, been snowing off and on here all day & gonna have kids with me when I go. Though my Gamestop is in the ghetto so prolly not that many RPG nerds gonna be out there woot!!!

Concealed Handgun Licence and a good .40 cal Pistol always helps down in the ghetto. And an AR 15 in the truck.

I'm in my car right now, the line here is huge. I'm going to wait for it to die down before I get in line.

Waiting in my car outside of gamestop right now. Got my ticket at 10 (first one), then I walked across the lot to walmart and got some soda and snacks. Now I'm waiting until 11:30 to line up outside because that's when they said would start it since there are only about 16 or so other people waiting.

I can only imagine the hubbub down at Gamestop (I live in Chicago, a fairly large city) but I'm not making it tonight, sadly.

just got my copy. I was out of there at 12:08AM. I got there at 10:25pm. The way they worked it is that everyone who had it pre ordered formed in line one and it started moving at about 10:30pm. So everyone fully pays for thier game and gets a receipt then they form on line #2. We waited in line 2 for about 1hr. We had a raffel but I didn't win anything Line 2 started moving at exactly 12:01am. And finally I was driving home 8 minutes later. there were about another 75 people after me waiting when I left but it should have gone very quickly.

To think there are places right now that has snow falling from the sky on 11/11/11... that must be epic!

Here in Pennsylvania it was warm, really warm in the store and there was a considerable line. Gamestop had us pay and hold onto a receipt from 10 PM onward, then we handed in the receipt at 12:00 to get the game.

I am of course home... with the game installing... I cannot waiiiit!!!!

There should be a ticket line and a trade in or not paid for yet line. If there are that many people it should be better organized.

Just got home, Gamestop @ medium sized town in northeastern MA. There were at least 120 people there.

Went smoothly, though. I got there at about 11:45, paid my purchase balance, and was out of there by about 15 after.

Installing... 7 more minutes :)

Walmart ftw.

Walk in at midnight, see two other people.

"You buying "insert new game here"?"

"Yep"

"Cool"

Pay for game and go home

Just got it....I actually had to go find the electronics guy to open the case. Took 2 minutes.

I just got home; the line was a little over 100 people. I live in a tourist town/retirement area lol We got tickets, they used those tickets to keep everyone who came at their place in line (first person was first in line) AND as a raffle to give away Skyrim stuff and other random things.

I just drove past the Gamestop I pre-ordered at. The line went through the store and a good 50ft down the sidewalk. I made http://cdn3.knowyourmeme.com/i/000/101/781/original/Y0UJC.png?1298581940 and drove home.

On the way though, I decided to pass by the other Gamestop in town that I didn't pre-order from. Not only did it look like there were half as many people there, they let everyone cram inside and had a huge screen TV that people could play Skyrim on while they waited. :sadvaultboy:

Definitely wouldn't have pre-ordered at Gamestop (at least not that one) had I known I was going to want to go to the midnight release.

There were over 250 people at my local gamestop...I didn't know there were that many people living here 0.o There was a countdown too 12:01am and when we hit zero...oh man was it loud, screaming, cheering, horns blowing, cars honking...people had swords, one guy had chainmail on, fancy robes.

Also one got into an accident at an intersection on the way home. I feel sorry for him.

Too bad they wouldn't allow any other purchases besides Skyrim...I needed to pick some other stuff up.

I could not believe how big the line was, it was almost as bad as MW3. Not kidding, expect healthy sales for Skyrim, people. :)

Ye gads! Glad am picking up my pre-order in the morning. Still its pretty cool to see such a New Years like celebration for SKYRIM. Hope the guy in the accident turns out alright.
