Post » Wed May 09, 2012 10:59 am

Need to know how long the line at Gamestop is so I can time it right, been snowing off and on here all day & gonna have kids with me when I go. Though my Gamestop is in the ghetto so prolly not that many RPG nerds gonna be out there woot!!!

There were 100 people that got their ticket before me. I am now at home waiting impatiently for midnight to come. Some people dressed up >.> It stinks to have to wait as people are paying off their games with trade ins and getting to the final $20 and not having the money and leaving. This wastes many people's time.

Nerdville, Population 100

Just kidding... Only time I've ever experience a line buying a game was ironically WoW. Wow I was nerdy back in those days.

I too live in a ghetto and the best thing about it is that there are never long lines unless it's a GTA release.

Walmart ftw.

Walk in at midnight, see two other people.

"You buying "insert new game here"?"

"Yep"

"Cool"

Pay for game and go home

Tickets? What is this about?
it helps to speed up the process and get people out the door. Show em your ticket and leave. If you dont have a ticket you must wait for those who do to get their copies 1st

Def the better option, but I dont live in the boondocks of IN anymore, so no Uber walmart to go to

So were your Gamestops giving away any free Skyrim stuff? I was thinking about going to the midnight release if mine was, but they weren't picking up the phone today so I decided to stay home.

As excited as I am for Skyrim, sleep is a little more enticing after working all day. It'll be there tomorrow afternoon (I hope!)

We are least likely to have a line as the other 3 in town. Just got back from an early Line o folks at the North side Gamestop.

There were about 25 in line with me around 9 pm, 3 hours early... I got my ticket and number and will head back before midnight...

I have no clue if anyone in Fairbanks is standing in line for this game but if they are, they are pretty darn cold. And I won't be driving the 100 miles to stand in line then 100 miles back. I'll wait for the dog sled to bring mine next week sometime.

Seriously, you need to get yourself a Wooly Mammoth. I hear scientists are genetically engineering Elephants with their prehistoric DNA and selling them on Ebay.

Walmart ftw.

heh I doubt that the folks in the Walmart I goto would even know where the store room is, much less be able (or willing) to go to it, find the box of Skyrim disks and then have the motivation to stock/ place it on the shelves at midnight (in the software section) just so we Skyrim fans could find it there at midnight for purchase. I would bet it will take 3 days for them to even notice the boxes back there, and then only if they tripped over them going to break...
