I think it's the reaction. There's two vocal camps, the lovers and the haters. And most people recognise MLP, so either side will say 'LOL PONIES'/'I HATE THESE IFEMMINATE PONIES!' responses.

Me personally, I've never been curious about MLP, but this morning was funny, but the mods discreetly changing up thread names is a riot.

Hmm, was referenced to this thread from the locked thread by summer, so I"m here to complain: Last night, putting "My little Pony" in front of everything, while annoying, was acceptable. I could still figure out what thread was what, without having to open it. But it's gone to far now, I can't figure out what 2/3rds of the damn threads are supposed to be about now without actually opening them because of how mangled they are with some form of pony-ism inserted into the title. Please put things back the way they were last night. Crap has gone waaay to far. Not to mention, not everyone likes ponies or thinks this is a funny april fools day joke. *Grumbles about brightly colored, overly cheerful, unrealistically friendly ponies prancing around everywhere on the internet today*

Good to see that the mods are willing to have a bit of fun on a forum that is otherwise restrained and frankly kinda boring at times. Good to see that some people still have a sense of humor and enjoy the chaos. I feel for the mods however that will have to change all of those thread titles back, probably going to be quite a hassle I imagine.

Well, let's see: I have no money until Tuesday, I have nothing else to do today, being Sunday, except browse forums. I only browse two forums. I've already browsed the other forum, I wanted to browse this one. I can't, because I can't figure out what any of the freaking threads are about. It's funny until it starts Inconveniencing regular forum users from using the forums. Though, on my part, It's not funny at all, as I can't stand ponies(and unlike others who complain, I've actually seen several episodes due to my almost 4 year old daughter watching it on The Hub, and still retain my opinion it's a lousy show). The point remains however, that when it hinders people from actually participating in forum discussion, it's been taken to far. As I said, I was fine with last nights iteration of "My little Pony" being in front of every thread title, but not this random gibberish that makes it impossible to determine what a thread is about.

You don't have to browse CD, there's other forums on here. Also a lot more to do than just browse the internet all day.

Such tomfoolery occurs once a day, and we restrict it to Community Discussion. I'm sorry that you're not enjoying it, but it is just one day on an off topic forum on a gaming site.

All it takes is a little comprehension. Ponycraft=Minecraft, Anybody have any goals?, etc. It's not that hard. It hasn't hindered my ability to participate in forum discussion.
