My Little Pony: Friendship is magic. It's not what you think. This amazing little cartoon has captured the hearts of thousands, if not millions of people who together have formed an amazing fandom. A lot of people don't understand how peope can find happiness from something originally made as a childrens show for little girls, but that right there is where they get it wrong. The show was made for children and their parents, so that anyone in any age group would be able to enjoy it. Of course there'll always be the haters, in which case bronies, use the report button. That was our mistake in the last few threads. Don't feed the trolls, flag em and move on.

Something I've been wondering about is the wings of the pegasi that escorted Luna to Nightmare Night. Do you guys think they were supposed to have their wings in a costume or do they just have bat wings ? Since those bat wings seemed too thin to have real wings inside of them it's possible it's not a costume, but then again you have the 2nd most powerful pony in all of Equestria in terms of magic that could have used some magic to change them. But do you then think it would have been on the incentive of her own or would Celestia suggest that it would be fun to alter the guards to fit the theme of Nightmare Night, and would Celestia then be oblivious to the fact the other ponies would find Luna's entrance to be frightening or was she just messing around with her ? Or perhaps she would have known how it would end up and decided it would be "scary but fun".

So many questions... so few answers... way too much over thinking on something that's probably just a minor issue. But what do you guys think ?

I think those guards are just part of Luna's personal guard. I don't think the reason for their appearance goes beyond that.

I took some bats, removed their wings, and attached them to a few of Luna's Earth Division. Not lying, it's totally legit.

Do you guys think Trixie is coming back anytime soon? She ran away in "shame" when she realised Twilight was better than her in Episode 6. Surely she must have practised alot since that, and is to return back to Ponyville 10 times stronger than ever? :biggrin:

I know she was a 1 episode "villain", but she deserves atleast another appearance in the show.

Truthfully I think the story of how Nightmare Moon was going to escape probably got convoluted as those 1000 years progressed. Even spike commented saying "Mare In The Moon? Isn't that just an old pony's/mare's tale?" when Twilight tries to find the book about Nightmare Moon. For all we know Nightmare Moon was supposed to be exiled forever with only Celestia knowing she would escape due to her dwindling control over the elements of harmony. Another plausibility is like in other fantasy tales the alignment of celestial *snickers* bodies allowed Nightmare Moon to gain enough strength to break the power of the spell placed on her.

As for spike not being able to spell threshold that was probably meant for comical relief than anything else as he was probably flustered. Being Twilight's "#1 assistant" he's probably got a good roundabout education thanks to Celestia. It was somewhat confirmed by Lauren Faust that her version had Spike raised by Celestia before he was officially given to Twilight. Reason she is cautious about it is that she is no longer officially working for the show with the creators probably having a more cannon version out there. However that being said many including myself trust Mrs. Faust as she was the one that wrote the so-called "Pony Bible" of sorts for MLPFIM.

Yup some people will scale down images while others make them specifically for the 90x120 theme. Mine is scaled down from 800x600 I think i'm not 100% sure there. Traced the image from the side of Fluttershy's helmet from Dragonshy of the Unicorn Stallion Logo.

One thing i've got to ask the other bronies out there is dealing with Rarity's dad. Is he a stallion earth pony or a unicorn stallion? If he is indeed an earth pony stallion then that would lend credence to the belief ponies of different races can mingle with one another. Mostly seen EE or UU nothing mixed/unrelated which is kind of unusual imho though for a Unicorn Stallion to be born I would think you need an Earth stallion + Unicorn.
