trashed a shrine
and forgot it completely

Yeah, maybe OP just should wait for a random encounter with Deep-In-His-Cups, to get some more vivid puzzle pieces about Lydia's little adventure.

She was arrested for [censored], yet kept her victim. Probably traded her one lock pick for it....

If that is a bug it is one funny bug. It would be cool if they actually have to take the consequence for their actions.
