I WON!! ....nothing.

I think I won like two dollars, assuming I'm reading http://www.megamillions.com/howto/ chart correctly.

According to that, if you match one number, you get two dollars, correct?

I believe you only win $2 if you match the mega ball number (the sixth number drawn)

Hey guys guess what?

You win $2 if you match the mega ball, with no other numbers.

:P

Well, I'll check in the next couple of days to see if anyone won. If not, we'll do it all over again.

It would be extremly stupid to actually go public and go the in papers and/or on the news declaring "we are the winners". All that does is make you a target for criminals and why would you want to advertise the fact you are lucky?

On a side note 640 million is a ridiculous amount of money for someone to win. 99% of that money could be better spent on other things. You could quite comfortably live off 1% of those winnings

I only buy scratch-offs anyway, at least you have a chance to win on those.

My dad always bought them and had me scratch them off because of some weird luck I had. Everytime he scratched off, he won nothing, but when I did it for him, I always won like 7-20 bucks.

I've never played the lotto, or bought a single scratch off in my life.

I have a 50-50 chance of winning right? Either I win, or I don't. Two options. = 50%. :D

I don't have the heart to tell him that the odds of winning something are actually 1 in 40...

The Mega millions? It is like 1 in 11,000,000+ to get the whole thing.
