Oh remake the 4th too.. 2 and 4 have things that don't make sense, like Liquid Ocelot and the one guy who sells you guns gave you FOXDIE to kill Big Boss??? Which makes no sense either.. I would probably just say MGS4 is not canon and just redo it all..

That would be so awesome, had so much fun playing those games when I was a kid ^^

I think the view is the best thing to do. Make it like MGS 4 or peace walker.

If you wanted to follow the series, that's where you play them, on the Sony platform.

I mean, that's like complaining about not being able to play Gears of War because you have a Playstation(x). You're comparing two different scenerios. Those titles are on those platforms, but for the followers of the series, remakes should have been made on at least the successive platforms the original was made for. The original series, the first two titles, were on a platform that doesn't exist anymore and the NES. They moved on from those, so big whoop.

That could work, but it might still be a problem for the ocelot boss fight.

Yeah. And true it would, but they could slightly change the mechanics of the fight to make it more suitable.

I honestly hope they change some story elements too, to make more sense with the recent games.

I thought thought they were going to remake Metal Gear 1&2, not Metal Gear Solid. It even makes more sense considering V is pretty much going to lead right into it.

I think they are.. They said they want somebody else to remake Metal Gear Solid and didn't mention anything about Metal Gear leading me to believe that they are doing that themselves..

I would VASTLY prefer Metal Gear 1 or 2 over Solid 1, 2, 3 (which is available for just about any console at this point, even the 3DS), and 4

I really want to play them, but that checkpoint system in MG is too unforgiving.
