Why must all MMOs revolve around PvP for you, OP? If all you want is PvP there are many other genres out there. MMOs usually have much, much more to them than PvP. Unless you're Planetside.

Heck yeah.
Invite some friends over, turn it into PvP.
PvP, ew.
Seriously, the thing most likely to get me to ignore an MMO is too much of a focus on PvP. Especially that open-world "let a bunch of budding sociopaths grief people for kicks" crap.
Luckily, the MMO market has plenty of PvE games (even if they feel the need to shoe-horn in some token arena "pvp in a box" to appease the bullies), so the market seems to be going just fine.
Try out Aion, theres an entire pvp only map with flying combat so you get like 4 times the area, both factions can invade the others lands through random spawn time portals, fort sieges and junk like that, its rly fun - if you go with pve its mostly a grind/farm fest trying to get drops from bosses and just clicking though the story PvP is the best part of that game
