Well naturally, that can either be taken as reference or just silly madgod talk. Players choice.
That's what I like, players choice.

As do I.

Indeed it is, much in the same way that my belief that Shivering Isles was a colossal waste of time and an extremely overrated DLC, is in fact, just personal bias.

We already addressed that wasn't what I meant.

They could, but they shouldn't. Just like they shouldn't make him canonically a goody goody do gooder. It should stay vague.

Of course they could, but then piss off a lot of people by ruining the character in their mind.

Open to interpretation. Besides, my money is the next TES game is set another few hundred years in the future, or completely away from Skyrim where word of it is just a passing news blurb.

I was actually fine with that. I liked being New-Sheo.

I was not seduced by Hermaeus Mora, he just can't get over that I don't want to be his champion. Overly attached Hermy is overly attached.

You can say "buzz off" to him?

Does he have any commentary if you read the Oghma Infinium?

He gives you that "your free will is an illusion" line and keeps calling me his champion. Ugh. Overly attached. He just wont give it up, even though I make it clear I want him to [censored] off. Its kinda funny.

I meant in Apocrypha. Does he reference whether or not you read the book?

The not-so-good gods in fantasy realms always like to test the faith and strength of heroes with their lies. Let us not be found wanting! :P

I do hate how they forced him on us. My level one character is level one specifically so I could avoid getting any daedric quests in my quest log. My character despises the daedra, but is more-or-less forced to do one's bidding in this DLC.

Muhahahahaha! Free will is an illusion petty mortal. You cannot avoid your fate forever.

I hope Bethesda makes the Dovahking canonically a tragic villian.

Me too. I have no attatchment to Dragonborn, and it would be fun to see people argue about it.

Well he's right. Your character free will is an illusion. You can pretend all you want that your Dragonborn PC won't be his champion. Doesn't mean it's not gonna happen in lore.

Just like some people say their champion of cyrodill didn't become Sheogorath. Loe, and behold the Champion is Sheogorath.

Not quite. They danced around that well enough that people can believe what they want to believe.

Yes he does he calls you his champion when you first enter his realm and that the Oghmna was only the beginning or something like that.

I guess it's almost impossible for anyone to NOT end serving the interests of the Lord of Fate somehow, but that doesn't mean we can't resist and try to keep his influence away from Tamriel.

Not really. I inadvertently served him, but that doesn't mean he'll claim my soul since I don't willingly serve him. He can call me his champion all he wants. Doesn't make it true. I bet everything the lore wont say we're stuck in Apocrypha. Everyone remember this for the future when I'm right.

He can believe me his champion all he wants, but in reality, he serves me, not the other way around.

Oh he manipulated me you say?

Which one of us can go super saiyan at the end of the day?

Which one of us can disintegrate a foe with a single shout at the end of the day?

Which one of us has three elder scrolls at the end of the day?

Mora can kiss my Dragonboots, I am his master.
